I had to give it a decent voting. We did not see any panic buys on deadline, as we have seen before. That is a huge plus in my book. Our new players are young and with potential, and despite the big hate Kulu is getting from some in here, I think it would have been way to soon to part ways.

I think the club sees this season as a plateau season, we need CL of cause, but the bigger transfers are first a possibility from next season. We all want to sell some of the deadwood, but its not fair to rate the mercato from that point of view. Those decisions are made earlier, and Its impossible to move players, who dont perform and also have a huge salary.

Maybe something like 5/10 would be accurate. Polak, Sandro and most of our mids still starting for us is just :sergio:

But then, we finally got rid of that fucking AnalRapist!!! 10/10 from me!

Feels like a bridge towards next summer tbh. I like how they didn’t bring in any old players and just focused on youth. I realize some of those plans are blocked by players we just can’t get rid of (thanks Tici!)

Next summer will be much more interesting and telling of Bini’s abilities. They’ll have Rovella and some other young players back from loan with more experience. They’ll have money to pursue Vlahovic/Haaland types.

Kinda sad to say, but also with the bigger picture in mind, I’d say a successful season would be a top 4 finish.

I agree with this. We have some new people in charge also. The success criteria is to just not fuck up what we have built. Inaction is better than action. So many clubs fuck it all up in the last seconds of a window.

Dybala still here sipping pina colada for bunch of millions per year. What a terrible position to be in. He holds us as a hostages and we’re our zip tied our hands behind our backs.

Hopefully Dybala is sipping Pina colada for even a bigger amount of millions in the future, or it will mean we losing him for free.

My main problems with the squad:
- Morata was good CF for us when he wasn't the focal point of the team and we had Ronaldo, with out CR7 he will struggle a lit as always.
- Dybala can have great periods of few weeks sometimes months, but the rest of the season he is usually shit,
- Chiesa and Cuads have to stay healthy, they are our best players, the problem is they both prefer to play on that right side, we could do with Chiesa RW and Cuads RB byt then we become to predictable, everyone know they have to totally block right side,
- Sandro has lost all his grinta and attacking drive, looks so uninspired,
- we are forced to play Danilo in midfield,
- szczesny is retarded,
- our midfield.

I gave it a 4 - I honestly can't go higher than that. Our midfield slightly improved, but it couldn't have gotten worse, seeing how pathetic it already was. Goalkeeping, defense and attacking departments all downgraded, in the case of our attack severely.

0/10 for me

We’ve lost Ronaldo and Demiral along with Fagioli and Dragusin who should have stayed to get some minutes.

Addition of Locatelli is good and addresses a hole but there are another load of holes that haven’t been, including the positions around him. Kean is a good signing and Kaio is an unknown but the returners are underwhelming and weaken our depth: Perin, Rugani, MDS, Pellegrini… The 10m spent on Morata is also questionable as he doesn’t offer guarantees.

We’ve not got rid of any deadwood like Berna/Ramsey/McKennie/Rugani/MDS

Overall we are a weaker team than last season, so positive marks can’t be given for this. I hope to be proven wrong and I hope it was shrewd business, but I don’t believe it has been.

That’s the problem. I don’t really know what we should do. We are in desperate situation and he’s calling the shots. Losing him free might be the only option, if he wants to run. Maybe he doesn’t and accepts fair share and gives us ”discount” for literally robbing us for years and then we might be able to ship him to somewhere.

4? 5? there is definitely nothing to write home about this mercato. Max and Loca have been the good parts. And I really hope Loca doesn't turn into a walking zombie here. Like Kulu who was the best young player before Juve and now is a shade of that.
I didn't really mind Ronaldo leaving. It's bad to not have a reliable clutch goalscorer, but I sort of liked the way Juve played as a team before Ronaldo. Especially in his first year here I often thought that everyone was just passing to him all the time.
Kean is nice I guess but i don't really know what to expect from him.
I never expected our high earning mids to be moved, especially with covid screwed market. It just seems impossible. Too bad no quality increase here, but you gotta sell something to buy something, I guess.
All in all just very meh considering our finances and the market. Would love a good mid though. Really want to trust in some sort of Allegri voodoo magic.
What I hate is how our management thinks that we have a competitive squad. Like come on, competitive for what? We didn't really get more quality except we have a good coach now. But I am not sure it is enough to be called competitive compared to lethargic last season.

Surprised you did not mention CB. Chiellini has maybe 10-15 game in his legs and Rugani is pure garbage.

A solid 3/10. All the braindead decisions of the past 3 years culminated in this absolute clusterfuck of a mercato. Possibly the worst mercato I've seen so far.

I went with a 3 but even that feels very generous.

It's really frustrating to think how far our performances and expectations have fallen in just a few short years.

All things considered, I would have rated the mercato a bit higher if the club allowed some of the promising youth to stay at the club instead of being farmed out.

Locatelli and Kean were decent signings, but it feels like there's just so much dysfunction at the club and in the squad that I'm not sure their success is guaranteed, similar to Kulu.

The overall state of the club sadly seems very similar to where Milan was around 2011-12: A squad full of unmotivated, overpaid "champions" that no other clubs want and seem to think their reputation will be enough to win games. Numerous holes in the squad and no money in the budget to fix them thanks to the wages of those overpaid "champions" and years of bumbled transfer dealings. Even more frustrating is that our scouting department seemingly consists of just Mino Raiola at this point.

Serious work needs to be done to right the ship in the coming years.

Just hope that we are all wrong with our predictions and Max can make this team work.

Btw whats going in in Barca? Wanted to check if they did sell Griezmman but their polish site is down. There was a rumour they would sell Antoine and buy Luuk fucking de Jong, can u imagine this. Their site down might mean this deal did materialize
