So you rather would have kept Llorente with his massive salary or are you part of the camp that believes satisfying offers just magically would appear if you believe strongly enough in it?

Llorente is a solid player, for sure we could have gotten some money for him.... Plus like he's better than Zaza... why get Zaza in the 1st place?

If you don't think we could've got a few million Euros for Llorente then you're mad. No other club would do this, I hope people don't try and justify this because it's an embarrassing piece of business from a club that apparently deeply cares about it's financial state.
Of course we couldn't get them, we tried to sell Llorente for over 2 months, we waited for the right opportunity that never came, we refused Sevilla's attempts consistently in those weeks. But the reality is a better offer never came, so we had to decide between letting him go for free or keep him. If you are into keeping him, then you can blame Marotta.

Llorente salary is massive and the clubs that he is good enough for don't pay salary's like that. He obviously is not interesting in moving to an average PL club, so that option doesn't exist. So what now? Tell me how you could have got a couple of millions. It's ridiculous to suggest that we wouldn't have taken them, if there was a possibility to get them. We don't do this for charity, we do this because there are no other options, not because of Marotta's lack of skill, but because of the dynamic of the situation that is how it is.

It's a general phenomenon with football fans. If they feel entitled to a certain amount for their player, they're mad if they don't get it, regardless on whether in reality that amount ever was achievable or not. I would have loved to get us money for Llorente as well, but you can't accept money if no one offers you money.

No one knows for sure if it's a free transfer or if it will be for 10M Euro. My guess is that it will be for free because it will save Juve 20M Euro in contract money going forward by terminating his deal.

He arrived for free so it's not like they are losing out on him. Isla, however, was acquired for a 4.5M fee. It will suck if they get nothing for him.

lets see the official numbers 1st. if we were selling to the EPL we could get 15M-20M for both probably, depending on how stupid the club owner is. if we can get ~10M for both from Sevilla, even if its a loan + option, it would be great
:howler: Great?! Really? Are you fucking serious? :howler: You can call it decent at best, considering how much we paid for Isla, but selling both at a loss can't be termed great. I'd love to do business with you some day.

Are there some people actually trying to justify giving Llorente away for free? Are you that shameless? That is sooo fucking retarded. Let's make an excuse. "We have an excuse and justification for everything Brigade."

It's been mentioned many times already. Zaza guarantees Berardi. We had to appease the mighty Sassuolo. Get with the program. The program also states we must donate to charity and help other teams out, and that Vidal had to be sold because he asked to leave. Fuck contracts yo. It is all about pleasing the players. I should try this at work. Good morning boss. I want a raise. Fuck off B81. Ok boss. Im going to a rival corporation.

Feels like 2010 all over again where people want to see some downright awful formations with half the team out of position, then going in the CL and expecting anything other than failure would be optimistic.

We should've just stuck to a 4-3-1-2, made a TQ THE NUMBER 1 priority, and then worry about tactical flexibility. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But we just gon' dun brokeded itt

Doesn't really matter that Llorente came for free, what matters is how he is valued in our accounts... Saving quite a fee in wages is a plus, but letting him go for free will result in a financial loss and wouldn't liquidate us, although we would be cutting our future spendings. Hmm, hard to judge when we don't know the details, but somebody had to go from a sporting point of view. I wish Llorente the best at Sevilla, really like the guy.
