Vidal hasn't exactly been 'replaced'.

We just seem to have more options in midfield now which'd help us to readjust.

Khedira, Asamoah, Sturaro, Pereyra, Marchisio, Pogba, Padoin.

That's good depth.

I'd be disappointed if Llorente isnt sold though.Zaza purchase would've made zero sense in that case.
Still hoping he's gone by the end of the window.

4-3-3
Buffon
Licht-Bonucci-Chiellini-Sandro
Marchisio
Pereyra--------Pogba
Cuadrado-Mandzukic-Morata
This is how I see the team being setup if we opt for a 433 ignoring the current injuries to our players especially the long terms ones.
Dybala needs to be a starter. He has to be. He must to be

I like the 442 suggestion in the other thread with both Evra and Sandro on the left flank.

But really hard to see us move away from a 3 man midfield when we are stacked in that department.

I mean we are basically putting Khedira , Asamoah and Sturaro for that formation.

Not to mention Padoin and Pereyra.

Of course, you don't have to play an orthodox, symmetrical system.

Buffon

Lichtsteiner-Bonucci-Chiellini-Alex Sandro

Khedira-Marchisio-Pogba

Cuadrado---------Dybala------------

Striker

That would put a fair bit of resposibilty on Alex Sandro to take the left flank, though Pogba naturally drifts out that way as well.

:agree: I also suggested this but then again, this might also limit pogba going forward

I like this suggestion

True that Pogba plays almost as a left midfielder these days for us.

But instead of crowding the center , we'd have threat from the right wing now instead.

also holding ability, our mids would need to do a fair amount of scoring too
Possibly.

It's certainly not a line-up that I'd be confident Juve would succeed with - it's just what may be the best bet right now if another player isn't signed because Juve currently appear caught in an awkward position between several possible systems that they are close to being able to play without any really fitting.

One good signing and that issue disappears.
