He would flop for a few reasons and this opinion is shared amongst some Spurs fans I know too.

Firstly his attitude after losing possession is really poor, never works or helps to win the ball back. I have heard of instances where he would throw his arms around in frustration

Secondly - More often than most Eriksen's decision making can be quite poor which can lead in a break down in attack, he is often criticised for trying to thread the 'hard' passes to the attackers even if there are more obvious and easier passes on, where as Lamela tends to be preferred by some fans as he does the easy passes and effectively too. There for I don't think he has the tactical intelligence to cope or adapt to the Italian league.

Personally I think he would be better off moving to the spanish league I really don't think Eriksen is as good as some make him out to be, as crazy as it sounds I'd be happier with Lamela

Rarely used for those who don't use a 4-3-1-2 as their formation of choice. But Allegri does, and therefore I think we really need one. And whilst I agree that they are expensive (2nd only to strikers), this shouldn't be a newsflash to management and more importantly, the board, as they dictate the parameters in whcih we can spend.

Lamela is not a bad player at all, he is just a bad fit for the team there is a difference

I don't think either Inter or Milan stand a chance. They've both had awful seasons and the players they bought are decent, but nowhere near the quality we have. Roma is different, but I'm confident they will demonstrate erratic form as they do nearly every year. I'm also not sure what they're going to do with Totti now that they have Dzeko. Bench? Midfield? Supporting striker?

In fairness to Conte considering his success at the club he had every right to make requests, Allegri won't leave unless he is forced out, unfortunately for him it is almost like a repeat of his milan days

Conte acted like a dick, it's undeniable, before you make requests you have a number, the number that means how much money your team can spend on the transfers and if you failed to go through the group stage round of the CL then this number will be not big enough for obvious reasons, just look how much money we've spent when conte was head coach

I have seen this comment fly easily around here, Serie A teams have leveled up big time this year and we are a team still in transition with many heavy losses yet to be replaced, it won't be as easy as you think, I'd be happy with a top 2 finish.

No what is wrong is to believe that any move the management makes is for the better of the team when it is quite clearly not. The management have as much of a track record of failure signings and moves as they have successful ones

I been following the forum for a long time especially the transfer section but this is me first post here.

I have mixed feelings about Marotta. On one hand he has secured some amazing deals like Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal, Tevez, Lichtsteiner etc., but on the other hand it pisses me off that the guy is unable to make us those high profile signing and we always end up with plan D/ market opportunities/ mediocre Italians.
When we sold Vidal and the rumours regarding Draxler and Sandro started to emerge I was really happy. I always been a big fan of both players and I actually thought that it would improve our team a great deal. At the same time I had these bad felling that we where going to miss out as we always do on our primary targets. When rumours regarding Soriano, Ramirez, Vasquez, Shakira or what the f%&K that guys name is, etc you just knew were this was going.
I am all for financial stability and managing our budget, I just have a real problem with the way Marotta allocates our funds. Zaza 18 mio. Soriano possibly 15 mio, Shakira 9 mio.. Instead of getting Draxler for 30 mio. and Sandro for 20 mio. I just don’t get it. We have enough debt in the squad just get the coach the AM that his been begging for to make his team click.

Diamanti is just an example, hell if the board signed molinaro back there will be those who will defend that move still. Basically what we're trying to establish is that there are members who will defend, and sugar coat every move the board makes because they believe they can do no wrong
