He would flop for a few reasons and this opinion is shared amongst some Spurs fans I know too.

Firstly his attitude after losing possession is really poor, never works or helps to win the ball back. I have heard of instances where he would throw his arms around in frustration

Secondly - More often than most Eriksen's decision making can be quite poor which can lead in a break down in attack, he is often criticised for trying to thread the 'hard' passes to the attackers even if there are more obvious and easier passes on, where as Lamela tends to be preferred by some fans as he does the easy passes and effectively too. There for I don't think he has the tactical intelligence to cope or adapt to the Italian league.

Personally I think he would be better off moving to the spanish league I really don't think Eriksen is as good as some make him out to be, as crazy as it sounds I'd be happier with Lamela
I disagree with everything you just said.

Eriksen is not a lazy player. And no, not when it comes to defense either. One of the best things about him is his work rate. I didn't really to bother look for new stats, but after the first half of the 14/15 season, he was ranked four in the entire Premier League when it comes to covered ground (source).

I disagree with your claim that Eriksen goes for the difficult pass too often. As a matter of fact, I think it's the other way around. I'll admit that it has gotten better at Tottenham compared to Ajax, but in general I think his problem is that he lacks egoism. He rarely dominates a game and isn't able to lift his team to the next level. If the team is great, he'll be good, but he's not the type of player to take you to the next level.

Oh, and Eriksen doesn't lack tactical intelligence. No way.

Widespread reports are linking Juventus with a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport are amongst those to have suggested today that the Old Lady are considering a move for the Denmark international.

Gazzetta believes that there has already been contact between the two clubs about a possible switch, and that the 23-year-old is not necessarily just an alternative to Schalke’s Julian Draxler.

The Bianconeri have been in the market for a trequartista and Eriksen fits the bill, but the Dane’s ability to play in central midfield is reportedly another reason for Juve’s interest.

However, Tottenham’s valuation of Eriksen is believed to stand at €25-30m, with the Turin giants reportedly ready to offer €20-23m for him.
25-30m ?

From the first minute I heard about the initial Draxler offer, I thought that was a cruel joke.

I was fine with everything up until the Vidal sale, and even then, I was still cool with it because I honestly believed that those funds would be used towards getting an AM and a LB. Now, a month has gone by, and nothing.

I just prefer to look at it from a distance, but if the season started today, I would not be very happy.
What annoys me most is how some are convinced that we don't need new players and we can cope with what we already have.

No. The team is incomplete. All these hypothetical formations and scenarios with the current squad just further cements my belief that we are lacking that creative playmaker in the middle of the pitch.

If I have to choose between an AM or a LB right now, I certainly choose the former. Padoin can fill in as an emergency backup to Evra if needed. There is no one on the squad right now that I trust to be the starting Trequartista match in, match out, without hindering another position on the squad.

IF Khedira and Asamoah were healthy, then I could have been fine with Pereyra getting the first shot as the AM, but he is now needed for rotation in the midfield.

 exactly my thoughts. Don't really care if Siqueira/Sandro/Kurzawa whatever falls through, LB isn't a pressing need for us (next season yes) but we are lacking a creative player that can unlock defences, someone who can link our midfield with attack. Pereyra is good, but I think we should be going for someone better.

I know everyone wants a creative AM (doesn't everyone want a creative AM all the time?), but do we really need one? I mean, we did pretty well without one last year.
