Both of them are crap, but Hernanes is the guy you should build your attack around otherwise he is useless. He is 30 already, never really played at high level and he IMHO just doesn't fit in our run-n-gun paced counter attack squad Dybala-Moratta. I'd prefer Pereyra at AM than Hernanes.
He can play as B2B and AM though. He's a good player, he showed it at Lazio. Guarin is all about power and shooting from distance into stands. Definitely Hernanes > Guarin.

Marotta "Oscar & Isco are 2 players that aren't stellar but would aid Juve's case but unfortunately they're not ours & we won't sign them."

Marotta "..Khedira, Marchisio & Pereyra. Also, Dybala could play as a trequartista." 2/2 #QS

No AM it is then
 :howler: Did he really say that shit? Marchisio and Khedira as AM; I shudder at the fucking thought. Oscar and Isco aren't stellar? Well, let's get Di Maria or Hazard then. FML. He should just leave tactics and formations to the coach, instead of making such retarded statements.

He described our midfield options and suggested Dybala as AM. Nothing more :p

Which means no AM. We'll get a CM IMO.

Hernanes is better than Guarin in every aspect hands down. But we don't need B2B from Hernanes, I think, even with all our injures, AM is what we are looking for.

It's really sad if we don't get any AM. I have a big hope in Pereyra, but don't see how is capable to be starter at that position, hope I'm wrong.

Yeah I agree. It seems no one is available or we don't have enough money for AM. Maybe even both.

We don't need a $#@!ing CM. We have Marchisio, Pogba, Khedira, Asamoah, Sturaro, Padoin, and Pereyra who can play there.

Why can't we just $#@!ing get our priorities straight?
Khedira and Asamoah aren't able to play and the season is about to begin. The bench is kinda empty right now with Padoin and Pereyra on it while Padoin is often a fullback and Pereyra an AM.

I will myself be disgusted if we don't land a proper AM but in all honesty I lost hope already :p We still lack creativity and strength upfront IMO. We'll so miss Tevez this year.

Depressing shit. I thought we wanted to copy/emulate the Bayern model. If these quotes are true, we are just going to remain a feeder club for the giants with spending power, and occurrences like Losing Vidal will happen with regularity. It is a shame the talent pool in Italy is shit, cuz we value Italian talent, but what happens when there is barely any talent coming through? :sigh:

Pogba #10 :tuttosport:

Or maybe Dybala could play there
No thanks. Essentially, we are weakening our team and spreading ourselves thin.

Real Madrid’s Isco and Oscar of Chelsea will ‘never be signed’ by Juventus according to Bianconeri Director General Giuseppe Marotta.

The 58-year-old also underlined that he hopes Paul Pogba will stay with the Old Lady, but pointed to the fact that spending power may be decisive.

"A trequartista? We are looking for a midfielder numerically, not with any specific qualities, but in the context of a very eclectic midfield which includes Pogba, Marchisio, Khedira and Pereyra,” the 58-year-old said to Quotidiano Sportivo.

“Dybala could play as a trequartista. Isco and Oscar are two players who aren’t extraordinary, but they would add to Juventus. Unfortunately they aren’t ours and we will never sign them.

“Pogba’s future? In modern football the decision of the player is paramount, like with Tevez.

“It’s obvious that we would like to keep him until he stops playing, but we can’t afford to do anything crazy in terms of salaries and some clubs can guarantee twice what we can.”

Here we go now... back to the days of quantity over quality... be prepared for some average signings now :sigh:

I really like it, we are looking for a midfielder but we don't give a rat's ass about what kind of player he is. We just want to fill the squad with numbers.

It's an issue of wage demands. I assume Isco and Oscar have (by our standards) high wages which will probably increase throughout their careers. By the time they retire, maybe we'll be a bit closer to the richest clubs.

We bought dybala for 40mil, perhaps draxler for 25.

We cant buy players like oscar or isco due to roflmao wages.
Thats about it. Its good, we should buy from inside serie a.

Our focus must be on italians and italy accustomed players.

Not south americans who transit here for a bit

Disgusting stuff really. We are 'never' able to attract players such as Isco or Oscar, yet we will sell our top players immediately when they request a transfer. I was really optimistic about or mercato and even rated it 9 or even 10/10 before the sale of Vidal, but it seems to me we won't get any adequate replacement. We were supposed to make majors steps after our incredible performance of last year but to me it seems we have stagnated. The focus should be on the Champions League again, as it is really important to put back to back performances on European Level and i believe that is going to be difficult without a top AM.
