We will still win serie a? Quite an emphatic statement to make seeing as 3 clubs this summer have strengthened fairly decently this summer, while we are arguably weaker, psychologically and as a starting XI as things stand. Don't see how we 'should still win'. Might eventually be the case, but at this point it's not a foregone conclusion the way it was a year or two ago.
I didn't say that we will win Serie A, just that we should win it, and I don't think anyone would disagree that we're still comfortable favourites. Not saying it can't happen differently, but our objective can't be anything else than to win the league.

Yup comfortable favorites still IMO. Would be extremely surprised if anyone else won the Serie A next season. The gap has become smaller though, that's for sure.

Favourites, yes, comfortable favourites, debatable. A lot has changed, and new players need to get accustomed to the habit and mentality of a winning unit, and the consistency that encapsulates it all. Allegri is more a tactician, and not the kind of guy who will necessarily instill that mentality on a daily basis, like say, a Conte did.

Which means we need leaders on the pitch and in the dressing room, and that's probably where the departures of Pirlo, Tevez and Vidal hurt us more than they would in a different scenario.

The AM to me absolutely has to be a top player that blends experience, vision and the ability to be a decisive game changer. Draxler is not that player. Perhaps why a lot hinges on that move and it would help us turn things around from the mercato' perspective to optimise the new signings we have, especially in attack.

No real disagreements here, my point was just that even though we're definitely weaker than last season should no more players arrive and that is cause for some concern, it still doesn't mean that we're completely doomed or anything.

would Lyon be willing to sell Nabil Fekir? @Raphael

if so, how much would they ask and who else is currently interested?
nope, hes not for sale, not to mention it's lyon who make porto look like amateur in the art of selling, i also wouldnt gamble my season on a big question mark like fekir

Petr Cech behind Courtois? Ter Stegen/Bravo? Pepe Reina at Bayern?
shits on all of them, the man is a class A keeper/motivator/coach/punchcelebrator all in one

i would take him actually. i was expecting Lyon to sell for over 30M though but wasnt sure, so i asked. id rather have him than Cuadrado or Lamela for example

I'm glad you think that way, because I'm pretty sure I read some apologist statements to the effect of Vidal being sold to balance the books etc.
I don't know if 'balance the books' is the right definition, as if we were talking about net spending, but it definitely does look good on the books with that huge plusvalenza from his sale, and our accountants seems pretty big on that sort of thing.

I agree he was good for us in a holistic view as player and person. But shitting on others takes it a bit far.
