How? That is a hyperbolic statement. Close to perfection? Seriously? I would have called it a solid 6, maybe even a weak 7 out of 10, but close to perfection is exaggerating a bit.
Tevez' leaving a year early was a little stain, sure, but he would've been gone a year later for sure, wanted out, and I don't think the deal was a rip-off considering what I've read about Vadala.
Khedira for free.
Dybala looks like a massive talent and the best Tevez replacement available.
Ogbonna sold for 12 fucking million.
Sorensen sold for 2.5 million.
Cerri for free.
Zaza is massively underrated on this forum, and discussions about his price never take into account the inflated amount of money we got for him last year as well as how it is interconnected with the Berardi deal.
Mandzukic is a very solid CF, very well suited to transition the team in the post-Tevez phase.

And I know I've only presented a rather one-sided view here, there were a few negative aspects as well, but if you consider that Pirlo's and Tevez' departures can't really be put down on the management, the mercato up to Vidal's sale was very very good.
