I believe you're right but at the end of the day my point stands still. Reus is not coming unless Beppe has 50-60m up his sleeve and another 10m for salary. What I want to say is that people shouldn't expect us to sign these type of players because it's beyond unrealistic. Reus and Gotze are impossible to get while Schalke plays a hardball on Draxler proving he won't come here for cheap despite the poor season he had. At this point I think we'd be better off looking for someone else. Draxler for 30m is a bad business especially with a player like Berardi being in our hands. W ebarely ever buy WC players anyway and I don't see why it should or could change now.

Replaced Matri with Zaza (decent upgrade)

Khedira on a free (most underrated transfer in this transfer window in all of Europe IMO)

Dybala to replace Tevez (a potential phenom of a player wanted by other European clubs, not on Tevez' level of course, but still an extremely exciting prospect) Oh and we also got first dibs on 4 potentially very good South American prospects in the process, plus 2 year loan of Vadala.

Replaced Llorente with Mandzukic (well this will eventually happen, but this is another very big upgrade)

The Pirlo one is a bit of a Rafa fact. I think basically this mercato is hinging on the Vidal sale, as Ocelot points out. We are clearly moving towards a different approach so it's a bit of a 'wait and see' in terms of the AM player we bring in. You can't directly replace Vidal and we aren't even trying to.

Unless we sign an AM and a solid option for LB, it is by all accounts a failure IMHO.

The problem is that I can't see any player who fits our profile and which we could buy. Sure, Draxler for the right price would be a solid move (a huge gamble nonetheless, but with a high potential pay-off), but other than that it's either players who aren't available to us (Isco, Mata, etc.), those who don't posess the necessary quality to really be worth the investment (Mkhitaryan, Saponara, Vasquez), or those who are good players actually but not the type we'd need atm (Cuadrado comes to mind).

Of course a lot can still happen, but I'm not too optimistic at this point of time, keeping in mind that even without any new additions we're not that badly equipped and should still win Serie A & reach round of 16/8 in the CL.

So true. You'd think the club could convince players with that track record, although I think it's the serie a that's hurting Juve more than the club itself.

We will still win serie a? Quite an emphatic statement to make seeing as 3 clubs this summer have strengthened fairly decently this summer, while we are arguably weaker, psychologically and as a starting XI as things stand. Don't see how we 'should still win'. Might eventually be the case, but at this point it's not a foregone conclusion the way it was a year or two ago.
