Pirlo was on 3.8/year
Tevez 5,5 + bonus /year+
Ogbonna 1,2/year
Pepe 1m/year
Matri 1,3 /half year

While
Mandzukic 3,5
Khedira as well 3,5m
Dybala 2,2m
Zaza 1,1m

and we got 2m increase from the renew of Marchisio and Bonucci
so roughly we freed 12,8m in wages and spent around the same in new wages for new players.
Honestly not a good business cause we lost a top player like Tevez and we didn't get a true one
We reduced the average of the squad drastically. From 30 to 27.

We got better depth than last year.

There are still players to be offloaded with high wages like Llorente.

We extended our top Italian players to long term contracts.

All this while increasing revenues substantially which will be closer to €400m by the end of next season.

Honestly what's not to like ? It's amazing people pretend to know more regarding the finances of the club than the people running themselves every freaking day.
In this day and age where clubs all over Europe have crazy wage bills in the excess of €160-€170m, it's remarkable we have been able to maintain a high level of the team with what is an extremely reasonable wage bill.

Thanks for this post.

It reminds me that there are people who havent gotten a clue what our teams vision is, and have no concept of finances.

A post like this helps me realise we continiously need to repeat what juventus is doing, and how great Marotta's work has been, because for the special posters 1+1 is hard to calculate.

I'm not saying we're doing bad but we're like in a limbo good in Italy and average or below in Europe except last season.
Now to truly become a world wide club like Chelsea,United,Real,Barca,Bayern and PSG we need to bring in players that can make our shirts sales increase.
That means higher profits and profitable sponsors plus a greater team that every year compete to win the champions league.
That's why bringing Zaza,Mandzukic and so on isn't good for the business. Rather take 2 world class and recognized players. Specially now considering our great CL run.
That's why i think we'll grow but not so much continuing like that.

WE NEED TO STEP UP OUR BUSINESS

You won't be successful in marketing a product if you're not winning/performing at the highest platform unless you're from the EPL.
Juventus managed to overcome their European struggles only last year and as Agnelli mentioned, Berlin will be our starting point where we will step up as far as enhancing our brand is concerned.Reaching CL final is a near perfect impetus to achieve that objective.
As I say this, the realities of Serie A and it's standing in comparison to other top leagues should be understood better around here.
Once the £5b PL deal kicks off next year, it's literally going to be a power struggle in regards to Juventus and the Italian league to maintain its current level or perhaps even improve over the coming seasons.
And I would like to see how this extremely skilled management overcomes that barriers and obstacles.
Four years ago I never thought we'd be at this level so early in our project so I'm hopeful we achieve the level we all want the club to be at in the future despite the obvious obstacles in sight.

Yes, however there is also an increase in our revenue stream and overall turnover.

How is Mata affected by Schweinsteiger's arrival, he can play on the left wing in a 343 or play as LCM next with Schweini in the centre of a 433, I don't think their roles will overlap or United would have the need to sell either.

I don't think Mata would fancy playing on the left wing again..

Anyway the EPL and other oil teams are just getting started in the mercato and I'm sure ::beppe: will be closely keeping an eye everywhere.
