SKY: Juve's proposal to Sassuolo is to sign Vrsaljko & keep him at Sassuolo on loan for another year.
SKY: Napoli will have to beat Juve to the signature of Vrsaljko. Juve want the defender & have already contacted Sassuolo.
Finally. Though I'd much rather we take him this season if we are selling Isla. Caceres and Licht are both worrying for that position give the injury issue and Licht's impending surgery.

Well to each his own, but I don't agree with some things: Tevez isn't a PHENOMENON, as Agnielli described the person we were looking for the number 10. I remember Zidane didn't get it. Alex was, at least in my mind, a talent of Messi's level, but got shafted with the injury. Tevez was not, but he is still much better proposition than Mata for our 10 as he is has some unique qualities too.

Mata is too 'normal'. There is a ton of similar no.10's and enough of them are considered better. Is he even a regular in the spanish NT?
good luck finding a talent of Del Pieros level in todays football then. oh thats right, there is none

Well if people want to reserve the Number 10 for a genuine world class player then they better wait around for a very long time until we're lucky enough to develop one, because we're not going to spend 60M on an attacker just to get a flashy #10 any time soon.

Even if they are selling Isla, Vrsaljko wouldn't get much playing time. If issues with both of them arise, then you can see Padoin picking up the slack.

Next year is when more opportunities will be there for him. And chances are, if Juve are true to their word and keep him on loan for this year, they can probably get him at a lower price than Napoli would.

Does anyone here with inside/reliable sources have a sense of the likelihood of a trequarista coming in. I'm worried that without one we will be void of creativity.
Marotta said our mercato is finished BUT that we will react if an opportunity arises. We still havent sold Llorente, Isla and Ogbonna yet, so i guess we are currently working on getting those deals done. After that, and as already said, if there is a market opportunity (a loan + option for someone like Cuadrado or Salah, or a new name by then), we might go on the market again. I wouldnt get my hopes high though, as there is a low possibility of such a player being available this summer...

Evaluating him over the pre-season. I think we'll keep him if none offer what we'd like.
Yeah, that was the report that Allegri wants to try Isla in the pre-season before selling him,if he is sold then Vrsaljko will be brought in according to that report.

To add to what Roman said

Sky sport says we will only sell isla if there is an offer of 15m and if we do sell him vrsaljko would be the first option.

I'm not sure if our interest in Vrsaljko depends on whether we sell isla but thats what sky says.
