Even if they are selling Isla, Vrsaljko wouldn't get much playing time. If issues with both of them arise, then you can see Padoin picking up the slack.

Next year is when more opportunities will be there for him. And chances are, if Juve are true to their word and keep him on loan for this year, they can probably get him at a lower price than Napoli would.
If we ever sold Padoin it should be for like 30m.

Well if people want to reserve the Number 10 for a genuine world class player then they better wait around for a very long time until we're lucky enough to develop one, because we're not going to spend 60M on an attacker just to get a flashy #10 any time soon.
Look at all the #10s we have had. When we bought them, adjusted for inflation, did any come remotely close to 60m? Nope. We will find on this year or next.

Well, if anyone is still bulking at the fee for Zaza, here is your answer why.

To add to what Roman said

Sky sport says we will only sell isla if there is an offer of 15m and if we do sell him vrsaljko would be the first option.

I'm not sure if our interest in Vrsaljko depends on whether we sell isla but thats what sky says.
15M :dazed: I doubt anyone will pay that, but let's hope :xfinger:

PSG & Barcelona are interested in Pogba. PSG have contacts with Raiola, but Paul is not very interested in joining the French club. [Sky]

Laporta has had several contacts with Raiola. Juventus could buy another striker if Llorente leaves. [Sky]

Seems like overkill to me - Zaza, Morata, Dybala, Coman, Mandzukic should be sufficient. Add a #10 and if you really want, pick one who is versatile enough to play as a striker. (Gotze, James, Insigne come to mind)

Another striker? Hopefully an SS this time, we only have Dybala

If we could get Cuadrado on loan with option to buy that would be great because it would make us very flexible. We could play 4-3-2-1/4-3-1-2 or 4-3-3 depending on the opponent, player form, etc

Yeah sure. But looking to the past in this instance for predictions about the future does not work.

Young talents playing in obscure leagues, if spotted quickly could be regularly snapped up at a bargain price back in the day. Now, Mr John Smithinho playing in the Brazilian 2nd division scored 25 goals and nut megs 15 people gets himself 20 youtube montages, media coverage and a club pres hyping him up as the next GOAT. He will cost you sometimes 10's of millions and despite that fee he will still be a huge risk.

Now obviously there are exceptions, many of which actually have found their way to Juve thankfully as of late. But these situations are not common. It's not every year there's a collection of world class gems being shunned by a coach or refusing a contract or wants desperately to move to a country with a different life style.

Now you have a hoard of elite clubs looking for these next big things, and paying a pretty penny to get them. Failing that, clubs from lower tiers pick the players up and then slap a huge price tag on them, by the time the top clubs notice them it's too late and they cost a bomb.

pogba and Vidal two of the best CMs in the world cost us peanuts. Yes attackers are worth more but it can be done, if Beppe be damned :D

I would love nothing more, it just sucks because any promising attacker stands out even as a teenager because unlike defenders and midfielders, they're putting up actual goal/assist numbers for the world to see.

Hopefully Dybala 'explodes under allegri' :touched: and he can have the #10 when he's older.

I still wonder if we should snap up RVP if we fail to get the AM. Still think we need another SS, to help Dybala grow into that role or he's going to have way too much on his plate in a first year. He needs to take on the mantle rather than have it thrust on him.
