I am not down with trying berardi for AM during preseason . If he fails I doubt we will get anyone in that position . This transfer season has started like pretty much any transfer season has started under beppe . We pretty much sign who we want to sign as soon as the season ends , then we try for deals which hardly close for the rest of the summer , so I am afraid to leave things for the last moment and end up with a panic buy or nothing at all . To say it really , seeing how this has been a trend these last years , I doubt there will be a lot of players we will buy after khedira , dybala . There will be the usual talks about this or that player and in the end we will probably end buying one who was not the top choice in anything . I obviously hope I am wrong though . If we do make another big buy though , I am fairly confident we will sell someone and I think that someone will be vidal . Pogba has more market , but I think selling vidal makes more sense 
, but for anything close to 40 mil I think that would be a great deal .
My ideal mercato supposing we do sell vidal would be something like this . I would definetly go for allan since we would need another midfielder . That would leave us with something like 30 mil to buy a good AM . If we make another buy , it needs to be a RB imho . I would leave berardi for another year on loan and sell zaza . If we could sell llorente and with his money buy mandzukic that would be a great deal also . If he is considered needed bring back rugani , althrough I think we can manage farily well without him also this year

In the middle asamoah can play if needed too , put ??? in the amf position because I am not sure who to put there if needed . If we really play with a creative midfielder next year imho we need a substitute too , which we could probably not afford unless we make a bet on someone young that doesn't cost much . I haven't followed him much the past year , but I would bet on saponara assuming his price is low enough . We could play with a CM with marchisio filling that spot if the main choice is absent , but it would not be the same imho . In defense barza,chiellini,bonbon and caceres are all we need , so we should give rugani another year as a starter in serie a to get regular time before bringing him home . I would send coman a year in loan to have more playing time . There would be big changes , but I think this is a squad with great prospect for the future . Next year we would need a great LB , a keeper to prepare for the eventual Buffon retiring , bring back berardi and rugani , and a good AMF second choice in case the one we betted previously failed . Maybe another CM also .

This are hopeful numbers , but I would say if numbers change a little in both IN and OUT we could at max be able to do this with spending around 60 mil .
While I wouldn't like to sell anyone , selling could permit us to make a great mercato . Next year eventually with the buys I mentioned , with around another 40 mil we would be set for at least 4 years . With the age our squad would have we wouldn't need to buy anyone , just sit and makes money for some years

Asamoah and Evra are enough. also (if we sign him), Darmian can play LB if needed and Caceres too as the last resort. if we dont sign Darmian a guy like Zappacosta or Vrsaljko would do for me + both can also play LB if needed...
and RB is ofcourse a priority over the positions you have listed. if we use a AM, it is going to be Vidal, with Pereyra coming of the bench. if we use a different formation (43DMT©ZACH), then we play with 3 forwards and dont need an AM either. for the striker we are bringing back Zaza and Berardi, both wanted by Allegri and both will get a chance to prove themselves in the training camp before we decide if they will be loaned out or kept. if both fail (unlikely) then we might look for a striker. if we use 4 CMs (Vidal at AM) then we could indeed look for another CM IF Pirlo leaves. if we play with 3 CMs, we dont need any more. as for LB, i already said about it above ^^.
a new RB however would be a needed signing. Lichtsteiner is going on surgery (read that around here few days ago), Caceres is about to renew but if we count on Licht who will likely mis the start of next season and an injury prone Caceres we might get into trouble. Romulo and Padoin can also play RB but it is questionable if they will stay or not + they arent that good at it. Isla is also returning though. we also arent sure in what shape Licht will return from the surgery (whats his injury anyway?) and hes 31 and depends heavily on his physicality. Darmian would be the best possible signing for us, he can cover both sides, which is important since we have 2 aging fullbacks, and is better than any fullback we could sign. we should concentrate on that before anything.
so, pririties should go like this.
RB,
striker (IF Berardi and/or Zaza dont convince Allegri),
CM (IF Pirlo leaves),
CB (if Rugani is loaned out, also unlikely)
another SS/CF (depending on if both Berardi and Zaza are loaned out again and who else we sign).
in theory, we just need Darmian, with Zaza, Berardi and Rugani returning and we are set.
