Oscar is overrated. And I could see RVP replacing Llorente. And the Vidal rumours could gain some steam if he wins the CL with Juve. In that case it also becomes a question of motivation. New challenges can be important for players to help their game grow.

He (Van Persie) is miles better than Zaza. He is 31 sure, but he can play at a high level for another 3 years at least. We could probably get him for not much more than Zaza money to be honest. And Zaza in my view does not have that much skill or potential to be great.

A forward line-up of: Tevez, Morata, Dybala, Van Persie, and Berardi would be sweet.

I just don't see the need for RVP. I'd rather see us get a player who can rotate & won't be mad if he doesn't play. Zaza is fine. When we lose Tevez in a couple of years, then we'll need to invest in a good veteran. Anyone know who has an expiring contract in '16 lol?

I'd take a chance on RVP over Zaza. We already have an attack young enough so adding some experience will be helpful. Look at the rotation between Morata and Llorente...both had a lot of playing time this year so I don't see why RVP would be unhappy. He is essentially close enough to age as Llorente it wouldn't make a difference. Imagine we get 3 solid years out of him like we did with Tevez. Of course, keeping him injury free would be important.
