Realistically, if they stick together, I could see Ronaldo eventually ending up in Serie A, in his later years. He'd be a shadow of his former self, but it would help the league for sure from a marketing perspective. Let's be honestly, what self-respecting Italian girl would want to be with him if he closed out his career in rainy manchester.

this is the problem, he will not accept 4m salary.

and we dont need him,our hand are full with young promising strikers, we already dont know how to use them in the right way, to add falcao to that hell no.
And if that's the case, he'll have a hard time getting a job. Unless Monaco wants to keep paying him.

Which Italian team will pay him his 17 million net & pay the absurd transfer fee Real will command? If he did want to come to Italy because of his girlfriend, if it became serious, you'd need to probably wait until 2018, and he'll be 33 and won't be the same player.

And like it or not, Serie A in general (excluding Juve) has been starved from stars. Getting a name like Ronaldo wouldn't hurt. Think about it, outside of Juve, the biggest name is probably Higuain. I think we'll see that change in the next couple of years though. Italy's economy is recovering, and the Milans will certainly spend this summer. We'll have the coefficient back in less than 5 years - I truly believe that.

Has beens coming to a league, even Ronaldo kind of, hurt the reputation more than they help. It needs to stop. The bbilans of our league need to wake up and start buying talent in the affordable places: Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1.

The key I think is investing in youth and keeping a strong balance sheet/ profitable books. Inter around the time of its treble had a reasonably strong pipeline of youth players, but they all flopped. And to make things worse, it was spending way beyond its means. That kind of stuff can't happen. Milan is the exact same. If the team was spending within its means, Ibra/Silva could have been sold for more and the proceeds could have been reinvested in youth. Juve is doing the right thing. The team's profitability is good, and it is using incremental cash from success to either a) invest in youth or b) purchase affordable pieces.

That being said, I still would easily welcome Cristiano Ronaldo into Serie A. Even at 33, he'd be one of the best players in the league. And quite frankly, any player coming from Real Madrid is probably good enough for all of the major clubs in the world. If we start to pick up has-beens from Tottenham, then we should be panicked.

Doesn't anyone else fear our attack becoming too young ? I mean supposing that both tevez and llorente have left by the end of next season we are left with coman , morata , dybala , zaza , berardi , all under 25 . While I am not against youth I still like a bit of experience and althrough I personally think we shouldn't buy cavani , in this case I think he is needed , or at least any other great striker with a lot of experience in his back .

A woman sent Zidane to Madrid so I can see one bringing Ronaldo to Torino . Sweet revenge
nope.

morata has played at the highest level now 2 seasons in a row.

at the age of 22 he's already in 2 CL finals, and a serie a winner.

that's more high level CL experience than cavani will ever have. and he has proven it with his performances.

I think things aere truly gonna change when the milan sisters, roma and Napoli , all get their own stadiums.
If they are intelligent enought, they will copy our business system and at the very least get decent players and economical stability. That could very well be in between 4 to 7 years i think. After that thing happens, the italian league will rise in quality

Ok, who is this Marcello that posted this on arsenal mania

http://arsenal-mania.com/forum/threads/arturo-vidal.28146/page-10#post-3770662

I know it's one of us here, because I googled the article and it was posted on redcafe a year ago.

I didn't post this on the Vidal thread because they may be watching.
Omg the hope they got from that post is incredible I love it

"Rumours are that he was offered by Juve to Liverpool (who are looking to address CM with Gerrard leaving) but with Vidal sharing the same agent as Alexis and it long being a wish of Vidal to play at the same club as Alexis they can shop him around as much as they want but the player has final say (as long as we offer a reasonable price)"

I love it because it hits all the preconceptions. They probably think unless we sell a player we're going to end up like Parma. EPL tools.
