Exactly - those claiming Dybala should play in the hole need to ask themselves whether it makes sense for Aguero to play in the hole. Aguero is better than Dybala, and neither of them are really suitable in a creative role. Dybala I'm sure will be great, he is shifty with a low centre of gravity, and a great shot but that doesn't mean we should ignore the obvious hole that we have, an attacking midfielder.

Quite frankly, both Vidal and Pereyra have been great in the role for us considering both tend to thrive in box to box roles. And while in some games having a CAM with an amazing workrate is useful, there are games where a team is defending too well and we cannot unlock them. In that case a player like De Bruyne, David Silva, Mezut Ozil, or Christian Eriksen would be very useful.

Coman isn't that creative. He seems more of an inverted winger/secondary striker. He's quick, can dribble/run, but you don't see much fantasista from him. I don't see him playing in the hole, I see him playing where Allegri played him today, up front.

Plus even if he could play that role, he definitely isn't ready for the starting 11. TBH I'd put him on loan right now so he can play all the time.
