EPL fans love to blindly read transfer rumours, and mistranslate articles...let's just call it "Pulling an EPL".

It says Arsenal are interested, but Juventus and Vidal are talking a contract extension. Idiots cannot read.

I'll pull an EPL.

Apparently, Vidal is just a poor man's Aaron Ramsey tho, at least according to this knob.

I'm still not convinced pereyra is the answer to AM. To me it would make more sense to use him as a central midfielder probably along with Asamoah and spend the money on a more orthodox AM and fullback(s)
Pereyra has a rare mix of grinta, creativity and technical ability though. Are there many top orthodox trequartiste who have the same? The workrate is critical to our gameplan.

Dybala? I've not seen him play but could he be that man?

Dybala is not a trequartista imo, yes he drops deep but it would be a waste of talent if his primary job is to service the front 2

I agree. I always preferred Pereyra as a CM but if I had to choose Vidal or Pereyra as AM id obviously choose Pereyra because Vidal at CM is worldclass. Problem is we played a formation that needed a AM. If we use that same formation next year i would think we would need to buy an AM so we can play our players in their best positions. But then again Pereyra could explode in the AM role next year after season one under his belt.

The thing is we can't wait around in the hope pereyra will explode next season in fairness he has had a bit of an up/down season this year. Right now it would be fair to say he makes a decent back up but still somewhat unrefined in certain aspects to his game.

In answer to your question @Scottish I understand our game is based upon work rate and grinta tbh there are so few trequartista's who would fit our bill as well as the profile of the team which is why I hope the management actually invests in both this area and at fullback

I don't mind having another Pereyra-like player and using Coman as TQ/AM to be honest. I don't think we need to splash too much cash.
coman is not a tq or Am for that matter

me neither
darmian, rugani, dybala, berardi, khedira its already a hell of a mercato, kwado counts as a new reinforcement also,
we have a great team already, sturaro its a big surprise, and about thr TQ, i dont think allegri likes to use a fantasista in that position
he used muntari and even boateng at milan
so i really dont think we will se a fancy player in that position

its incredible how people really belive this type of coments
like the most annoying one, "vidal neiboor said that he is moving" WTF!!!!!
since we sold zidane like 20 years ago, every year exactly every year u will find reports of juve being forced to sell their stars
zlatan, del piero in exchange of rui costa......
and the most hilarious
del piero must be sold and juve is planing to replace him with newcomer FANTASISTA luca toni......( and a lot of people belived it)
