Verratti: 'I want to play with Pogba’
By Football Italia staff

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti says he’d like to play with Paul Pogba - 'he’s a phenomenon’.

The French champions have been repeatedly linked with the Juventus starlet, with director Pavel Nedved admitting that the Bianconeri have received an offer.

Now Italian international Verratti has given an interview to a French magazine in which he expresses his desire to play with the former Manchester United man.

“He’s a phenomenon,” the playmaker told So Foot.

“If he had been allowed to play at Manchester United he’d have responded as he’s doing now [for Juventus].

“He needed confidence. Juventus gave it to him and now he’s proving to everyone that he’s among the best in the world.

“It would be nice to play with him one day, he’s very good. With the best players everything is easier.”

Verratti first came to prominence under Czech Coach Zdenek Zeman at Pescara, and he praises the current Cagliari boss for helping his development.

“The year with Zeman changed my life. Before that I only came back to defend if someone was hurt.

“Then I started to think about football 24 hours a day, the little things that you can improve in your game to make a difference.

“It became a job, a responsibilty. Nobody works like him.

“Sometimes, after training, I was throwing up from the effort of 20 miles of running. It’s like military training.”

They are so different that you can't compare them. When is the last time you saw Marchisio score a header?

De Bruyne is incredibly overrated by Belgians. He's a talented player, but he wouldn't fit here.

We are talking about CM's. Its extremely obvious that Witsel is far below the starting quality at juventus

De Bruyne overrated by Belgians ? So him tearing up the bundesliga and getting transfer rumors from all around is also overrating ?

See, again, if you dont watch out NT, please dont argue about it. De bruyne was among the first signs of progression. He was the first offensive player that actually performed. IF you actually followed our NT, you'd know that a big majority preferred De bruyne over Hazard, cause he was simply performing far better in our NT.

Hazard is not a CAM. Jesus christ wtf ? De Bruyne can play central midfield and both sides of the wing. He can even play CAM. Hazard is a good LW that roams or switches flank.

Please stop commenting if you dont follow the players.

This is one of the most retarded posts I have seen in a long time. I've seen every game our NT played since 1998 or something. If people are preferring De Bruyne over Hazard that IS overrating De Bruyne. It's insane to build a team around De Bruyne, when you have Hazard at your disposal.

You're going on my ignore list, because frankly, I have no need for your bullshit.

Lastly, I find it remarkable how you underrate two French speaking players, yet completely overrate a Flemish speaking one. Must be Flemish newspapers getting to you.

around 90m. 100m+ if we win it. That's tanks to italian tv money pot and Napoli dropping early in EL
wait, 2 years ago we were in the same situation. Udinese crashed out early, but we did not make it to semis. We ended up having around 65m from CL
you're saying going to semis adds 25m to that?
