I actualy have to agree to 4). He told this many times, he does not like to play as an LB. No matter how good he is defending, if he does not feel comforrtable there, hoe can't be forced. One thing is when the player is 'alright' playing out of position, but another is 'I don't like to'.

he was saying that when he was at the WC with Ghana. seeing idiots like Boateng and Muntari being preferred ahead of him, i can understand that. but im sure he would rather be a starter, even at LB, than being the 5th CM and missing a lot of games here

Zaza, Mkhitaryan, some backups, plus keeping Pogba is probably the best we can hope, and I'd say thats a good mercato.

Buffon
Storari
Lichtsteiner Bonucci Chiellini Evra
Caceres Barzagli Rugani Padoin
Vidal Marchisio Pogba
Sturaro Pirlo Mattielo
Mkhitaryan
Pereyra
Morata Tevez
Zaza Coman

Sell Llorente for cash (Let Zaza and Morata duke it out for a starter spot), ditch Romulo, and let Berardi stay at Sassuolo for another season IMO. The only change there is Mkhitaryan, but I think he can give our attack a lot more fire power.

Berardi is coming back that's what Nedved confirmed himself and rightfully so; it's kind of weird to have Coman ahead of Berardi even if I rate both pretty highly Berardi is a more finished product definitely.

Berardi needs to be here next season. His time at Sassuolo has been beneficial but he needs to be training with top class players and playing at a higher level. Leaving him at Sassuolo for another year would be foolish.

Agee,Berardi should be here, and he shold get his chance even before Coman.
If we can't give Coman the minutes loan him out for a season.
And i think we do need an RB back up with all those Caceres injuries.

Buffon
Storari/Neto
Lichtsteiner Bonucci Chiellini Evra
Vrsaljko Caceres Barzagli Rugani Asa / +Ogbonna,Pado
Vidal Marchisio Pogba
Sturaro Pirlo NDJ /+Mattielo
Mkhitaryan Tevez
Berardi Pereyra / + Coman
Morata
Zaza

6 new players.
Btw,this is what was rumored the past days about Juve plans for this summer by the media:
1 Gk,2 Defenders,1 Midfielder,2 forwards.

P.S

With those players 4-3-3 also possible:

Mkhitaryan/Berardi-Morata/Zaza-Tevez/Coman

the best young player in the league (and one of the best in Europe at his age) and a decent rotation striker who is starting for Italy. yeah, "Sassuolos attack"

Marchisio was always a starter here, except for last season.

Bonucci-Chiellini conceded 2nd least goals in Europe after Bayern. Rugani is, like Berardi, the best young player in the league at his position, and one of the best in Europe in his age. Barzagli doesent play at all this season and we still have a rock solid defense

yep, play our starting LWB whos biggest strength were his defensive abbilities at LB. very bad plan

we arent replacing Buffon. hes staying atleast 3 more years (he said so himself). and what serie b are you talking about? we signed Neto, Fiorentinas (5th place) starting keeper.

:touched:
1) The best young player in a talentless league especially in attack. You make him seem like Marco Reus or a young Aguero. Starting for Italy is worthless now. None of the strikers are even at Iaquinta's level. This is worse than Fred starting for Brazil. So again.. top teams will be fielding the Messi, Suarez, Neymar trio or the Benzema, Ronaldo and Bale trio or Lewandowski/Gotze supported by Robben and Ribery or Hazard, Costa and Willian while we will have Saussolo's attack. Even city has Aguero, Bony, Jovetic and Dzeko and we are taking risks on unknowns hoping to be as good and feeling confident.

2) Marchisio was a starter pre-pogba's rise. One of Vidal and Pogba is likely to leave and Pirlo has become too old. You cannot have a better midfield than Pogba/marchisio, Pirlo and Vidal that we used to have. The midfield is and will definitely get worse.

3) Perhaps you arent a fan of the Rugani + Caceras defensive duo that others here are fans of. Havent you come across the "sell bonnuci" and "Chiellini sucks" brigade?

4) Asamoah's only match that I recall as Lb was against Madrid? and he got ripped a new asshole. Plus wasnt everyone here dissatisfied with his LWB performances?

5) I havent heard the Neto part. I was thinking about leali.

Juventus continue playmaker search
By Football Italia staff

Juventus are still thought to be looking for a playmaker, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Chelsea’s Oscar on the shortlist.

The Bianconeri were heavily linked with Galatasaray’s Wesley Sneijder in January, but the Dutchman ended up staying in Turkey, while Mkhitaryan’s agent has said he would be an ideal player for the Turin side.

According to Tuttosport, the Old Lady are still determined to bring in a playmaker and have spoken to Borussia Dortmund about the Armenian. It’s reported that the Bundesliga side made clear they would not do a deal in January, but the summer remains an option.

Adnan Januzaj of Manchester United is also believed to be a target after failing to break into new manager Louis van Gaal’s plans on a regular basis.

A more expensive solution is said to be Oscar of Chelsea. The newspaper believes that the Brazilian would cost around €40m, but could be an option should Juventus sell Paul Pogba in the summer.
For some reason, I really like Oscar, but not for 40 mil.

Why De Jong when we have Asamoah? which is even better??

Yes, the context of WC was there, still I think he expressed his feelings overall. But yes, he would rather indeed be a starter at LB. that's untill we will have something who is used to that spot naturally.

talentless league :touched: past couple of years this league left T. Silva, Cavani, Lavezzi, Sanchez, Sirigu, Verratti... even now Pogba, Pjanic, Berardi, Perin, Rugani, Dybala etc. no talent at all in this league. none of the strikers are even Iaquinta level . top teams will be fielding these teams you listed, yes. we will be fielding Tevez, Morata, Berardi/potentially new signing. youre talking trash again. "risks with unknowns" :touched: that would be true if we got Berardi 2 years ago. we signed him and left him at Sassuolo for 2 years and scouted him so we pretty much know very well what we are getting which means he is not a n unknown. i guess you were one of the people that were against signing Verratti too and are now hoping we can get him for 30M. so again, as usual, youre wrong.

this whole thing you wrote doesent make sense anyway^^

2) Marchisio was a starter pre-pogba's rise. One of Vidal and Pogba is likely to leave and Pirlo has become too old. You cannot have a better midfield than Pogba/marchisio, Pirlo and Vidal that we used to have. The midfield is and will definitely get worse.
Marchisio was a starter for years for us. Pogba is here 2 seasons (this is his 3rd one), in his 1st Marchisio was starting, in his 2nd Marchisio was a "bench player" but played as much as the other 3. this season he is an official starter again. hardly can call him a bench player. one of Vidal/Pogba is not likely to leave, you again are taking ideas out of nowhere, and both are likely to be long time starters along with Marchisio so the drop in quality is not existent, especially with Pogba improving every year.

3) Perhaps you arent a fan of the Rugani + Caceras defensive duo that others here are fans of. Havent you come across the "sell bonnuci" and "Chiellini sucks" brigade?
Bonucci-Chiellini is our starting duo (depending on what shape Barzagli will return in) and Rugani is only 20. he wont start right away after coming here, unless he surprises everyone and is an exceptional talent like Nesta or Cannavaro. even if so it would take him a year or two to settle in before getting a starting spot. Caceres is a backup for Licht and when fit is close to a starting spot. i havent seen these people fielding Caceres-Rugani but thats highly unlikely.

4) Asamoah's only match that I recall as Lb was against Madrid? and he got ripped a new asshole. Plus wasnt everyone here dissatisfied with his LWB performances?
i was very happy with his performances at LWB for the past 2 seasons. there is not such a big difference in playing LWB and LB. im sure he would have a similar game against Real had we played 3-5-2 with him at LWB. again, he is our starting LB and when he returns from injury next season he will get his starting spot again.

5) I havent heard the Neto part. I was thinking about leali.
its not official yet but Neto is coming here at the end of the season. he will be a backup for Buffon for 3-4 years before Buffon retires. Leali is not returning and he is not a serie b keeper. he plays for Cesena in serie a

:agree: Willian though..
I like Willian. Hard worker and massively talented. He has, however, been outshone by Hazard for a long time now.

I'll repeat it again: we are Juventus. We don't look for the second best player. We look for the best. We need to stop our mediocre transfer policy right now or we'll be shit for years to come.

We're not Southampton. We're not turning okay players into great players. We're Juventus. We're the finished product.

Nothing wrong with what we did with Vidal and Pogba.

But, I get your point.
