i hope we can get Draxler, but i dont want to expect much. an offer like 25+5 or 22+10 or ~28M + no bonuses..., something around +/-30M (including bonuses), would be the absolute maximum we would go for i think. the question is, would Schalke accept that? im leaning more towards a no right now, because honestly, if he didnt have that injury, he could easily go for 40M. one injury free season with good performances and his price skyrockets again. lets see if things change in the coming days
We will have the money after the Llorente sale...we saved by loaning a new LB so we definitely have the money. Chalk up the release clause fee and be done with it.

Remember this post, genius?

As always, we will all sit back and watch your worthless predictions crumble for the next season. See you again next summer...With.The.Same.Conversation.
again spare me the fucking evra bullshit. stick to the fucking point. we aren't even talking about whether siq or kurzawa fit into this team yet you are basing your petty argument over statements which has 0 relevance because the rest of your case is 100% pure generalisation. Come back when you can actually argue a case as to why we went for a short term solution with siq when kurzawa has been a target of ours for much longer

No we finished 7! With Del $#@!ing Neri!
Shit, dude, calm down a little. Diego wasn't a messiah, he is a man you should build your team around, otherwise he is useless. Del Neri didn't want to do it (he is still dickhead, but nevertheless) and I'm pretty sure Conte wouldn't do it also.
Since Del Neri we won 4 in a row and entered CL finals – not bad at all.

And yeah, hope we get Draxler, he is great. With healthy Draxler we are in top 6 and have a pretty good shot on CL.

As I said, there isn't much between the players, but he's not a real AM, for me.
if he comes, he will probably be one of those "numerical additions" Marotta was speaking of. can play both AM and CM and we kinda lack 1-2 players in midfield. cheaper and younger than someone like Guarin for example

My argument is you are wrong so often its laughable.

But what do I know, you were the one at the negotiating table that day for both clubs so please, tell all of us what we don't know about the deal because evidently you know every detail since you are so absolutely certain as to what you are saying is truth.

oh yes i forgot you are best buddies with kurzawa which is why you said his personality is "cocky" and was a reason why we didn't go for him

Could have been used to cover the costs of other deals (not all of it) so including the Llorente money only helps.
and all the money from last season? the apparent 100 mill we got from the european cup run? amongst other incomes i.e. sponsorship deals

I said he is cocky and went towards money, NOT that he was cocky and thats why we didn't go for him.

Let's try and keep our facts straight, Badass.

you mean the european cup run we were supposed to crash out of early because we signed Allegri?

yes, it seems obvious after loaning the LB instead of going for younger and more expensive options that we want to have more money to invest in that AM. from our side, after we sell Llorente finally (i hope), everything is set, and we can go for that AM (Draxler). 2 things im worried about though.

1. Schalke playing hardball - because obviously, they dont have to sell at all costs, Draxler is young they can sell him in one of the next summers. also, cant see him force a transfer if they reject our offer since hes their youth product, plays there his whole life, loves the club etc.

and 2. no alternatives - atleast not good enough to start for us and not right now (might change in the coming days). im not worried about 2. as much as i should be though. a new AM would be excellent, but im confident the team is good enough and competitive as it is now. on the positive side, atleast we would witness a huge meltdown if we dont get no one :D
