Don't you tell me to stop being a fanboy, Osman.

Your anaconda has a long reach, but not long enough to reach the other side of the atlantic.

The nerve of you....................telling........................me

What is this on............................................my.......................................shoulder.

Oh come on, OS. Seriously now. Reel it in, FFS.
amateur comedy hour aside :D I dont mean you exactly with fanboy, but generally refusing to acknowledge poor performances on face value and injecting expectations and excuses to completely BS it away. Yes its very good and valid excuse to point out how he is beeing used under Guardiola, but it doesnt say everything, nor is it good enough reason to excuse severely lacking performances from last season. Top players are top players because they adapt and adjust to difficult times, not be at their best, but atleast show good qualities mostly. Its boils down to not expecting enough of him if you seen him enough times last season and werent severely dissapointed in his performances, it was really not good enough despite the limitations of the tactics.

He was really poor. I don't watch a lot of Bundesliga, but I do follow Bayern's games. The fact that he doesn't play his natural position is definitely not helping him, but I agree with Osman in that it doesn't excuse how poor he's been in general. No doubting his talent though, if it were possible for Juve to bring him in, I'd say it's worth the gamble, especially if he were to be played in his natural position.

That is all I've been saying young Frederick.

There is a big difference between a player having a poor season, and a player just being poor. Even with that, he still chipped in 15 goals, as bad as he was. Which is why I said earlier that I would feed my mother to the wolves to be as awful a midfielder as he was last season.

Yes, I fully agree with that. In fact I was making a similar argument in the Bonucci thread, just the reverse of it, i.e. there's a difference between a player having a good season and a player being really good. :p

Who do the fuck would say no to him for us or even consider doing so even for a second? There is a reason Bayern wouldnt entertain any notions of him leaving. But still call a spade a spade, he had a poor season and needs to show his qualities alot more with Bayern to justify the hype and expectations he came with.

Decent Summer regardless. Hopefully next year we see a new cam and full backs
The Mercato can't be closed if Allegri has specified the need for a 10. Don't think Marrotta wouldn't even try to sort that out in the time that he has left. Too premature to close the Mercato IMO. Same goes for getting a decent FB.

We will strike. One more AM.
Yea I think so too.

Is anyone else a little world about Champion's League play?

With our current roster, winning Serie A won't be a problem and goal-scoring will look how it did in 2011, but CL IDK.
I'd tend to agree with that although we need to forget about the CL this season, in the sense that we are not as strong as this past season, and will need a lot of the incoming players to get the experience and wavelength of playing on this team in the CL. We are transitioning a bit, and that's bound to leave us a but vulnerable in all competitions.

Götze to Juve is not a gamble, it's a bargain.

He will explode under a coach as smart as Allegri.
For sure.
