Coman is a great talent who I expected to take the step up this season now that he turned 19, same age Pogba was in his first important season. But selling him for 28 million is fantastic. He is potential but has not proven anything yet but we are getting a fee which we would get for a good developed player. Its close to what we got for Vidal and Coman hardly played for us last season. We wont miss him at the moment because there is no certainty he will contribute but if we can sign a developed player who can contribute right away it will be smart business. Essentially it could be Coman for Draxler which I am totally fine with. Draxler is someone who can be a starter and our main creative force. So we bring an important player for someone who might be important in the future but is currently mediocre.
im starting to talk myself into this mercato. if coman is an option to buy we could possibly get him back which is good, if its obligation we have a extra 20m to spend next year. if we sell zaza with option/obligation we could actually make a profit off him if you think about all the times hes been co owned the last few years. draxler is good and fits a need. Now we can play 4-3-3 when we want to spread things out with wingers and 4-3-1-2 when we want to play Morata and Mandzukic at the same time. i hate to change my mind so fast and we will see once the mercato shuts but i think maybe everything is falling into place nicely. i hope....

We didn't actually have a main problem. If we did it was Evra not having a decent understudy/long term replacement. We fixed that in the best way possible.
Pirlo & Tevez were replaced before they even got sold. If you're pointing towards Vidal; that gap was only created later on during the mercato and we're about to fix it.
