Strange. I've been there twice, when I was about 8 years old and another when I was 16. I loved both of them and had more fun than in any other country I visited.

Beaches, Bitches , museums and parties. They were all great but it depends on the company you're having when going out IMO.

Terribly unfriendly people in my experience.
Plus, there was f*ck all to do or see where I was. But to be honest, I don't even recall the name of the place I was staying in, only thing I recall is that it was somewhere on the border with Algeria.

It's there and in Sfax that I had the most fun, there's a whole load of Juve fans in Sfax as their local club dresses like Juve and the whole city have a nasty crush on Juve. In any case the most history and legacy is located in a dozen of islands near the shores of Tunis the capital. It's freakin awesome there if history and legacy is what you're looking to see.

Nope. It's more than 10 years ago, I can't remember stuff for that long

I do recall being in Tunis though (very swift visit), but that's not where I stayed.
