:agree: Those who say Inter, have probably got it right according to Rai (Moratti: "Suazo ci ha dato la parola" translates as Suazo has given us his word) Rai wait until they know the report is true, as opposed to Mediaset (Italia 1, Canale 5, Rete 4) who tend to present the gossip, (gives me a laugh) with Sky Italia being somewhere in-between. Rai continues...Nelle prossime ore dovrebbe dirimersi il braccio di ferro per David Suazo. This has an idiom translation rather than direct and simply means this is leading towards quite a struggle over the next few hours. I like the use of "braccio di ferro," the iron arm...that's what they call "Popeye" in Italia...

Am I right in thinking that Inter has agreement with the player, not the club and Milan has areement with the club but not the player?

If so, neither deal is complete and so at the moment Suazo hasn't signed for anyone and everything is still to be decided.

:agree: It's a definite that the deal isn't done yet...I don't know the "ins & outs of it, but Suazo's on holiday right now and even if he has given Moratti his word, words can be broken...truthfully I don't care really where he goes, but it is interesting. Would I have liked him at Juve? He's not any better than what we already have!

If he was to sign with Inter at first, but ended up signing with Milan as well, and now is back at Inter due to technical issues...isn't that going to cause troubles for him at Inter now?

Whatever the case, all parties involved except for Cagliari are idiots. Why Inter needs yet another striker to add to the four or five they already have is beyond me, and why Suazo would actually accept a move to Inter must speak volumes for his wage demands. Unless Inter will sell Adriano or Cruz, have fun sitting on the bench David.

yes... Suazo agreed terms with Inter... while Cagliari agreed terms with Milan...

however... accordin' to his agent... he has a clause that allows him to be sold for £8 million... which Inter activated...

but Cagliari says that the clause is only applicable to foreign clubs... which the agent denied... insistin' that it is also applicable to Italian clubs...

so if the agent is right... than Cagliari will be forced to sell him... Inter offered £9 million plus Acquafresca apparently...

but if the agent is wrong... than Cagliari will sell to Milan... however i doubt Milan will want Suazo now... since he openly rejected them & wanted a move to Inter...

however i'm really curious to find out if Suazo would stay with Inter should they be relegated... would he say he was forced to sign with Inter & push for an exit?

Suazo And Moratti Could Face FIGC Ban

The FIGC could punish both David Suazo and Inter Milan if the two parties had penned a contract before they should have.

There had been suggestions from Inter Milan that David Suazo had signed a contract after the Honduran competed his medical at Inter, even before a deal had been struck with Cagliari.

Should that turn out to be the case, both Suazo and Moratti could face suspension, the player being out of action for up to six months.

"Both Suazo and Massimo Moratti said that a contract had already been signed," said Mario Stagliano, former vice president of FIGC's investigative committee.

"If that is the case, then even if it was torn up later, the crime was admitted by both parties and so a punishment is applicable.

"According to the regulations, the player and the President must be suspended or face some form of sanction.

"The maximum ban is six months."

While Milan have recently conceded defeat and pulled out of the negotiations, the saga is far from over.

If this happens a pay hommage to Milan :)
