The fun is that we see two clubs fighting and gettiing all worked up on a player like Suazo, who at the end of the day will most likely end up like another Obafemi Martins.

That's how you see it but the majority here are laughing at Inter not being able to sign the player.

Well I am laughing too, I mean first of all it's always a pleasure to see Inter being screwed up, even if its Milan...AND it's Suazo, what harm could it bring? Now if it was say Eto'o it would have been a different mood...

Cagliari hit back at Inter
Wednesday 20 June, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cagliari are ready to provide telephone printouts to prove they have done nothing wrong in the David Suazo transfer wrangle.

Milan pipped Inter to the signing of the Honduran striker on Monday night in a late move that infuriated Nerazzurri chief Massimo Moratti.

Cagliari owner Massimo Cellino claimed yesterday that he attempted to make contact with Moratti regarding the change of sales plan, but the oil tycoon claimed that was rubbish.

Now the islanders have issued a statement on their website where they are offering evidence to back up their side of the story.

With regard to the statement released by Inter President Massimo Moratti over the transfer of David Suazo, Cagliari Calcio announce that they will provide the printouts of the telephone calls made from the club headquarters in Viale La Plaia,” a note read.
Inter insist that Suazo has already put pen to paper with them and are now considering their next move.

Should the Honduran ace not arrive at the club then it is possible that the Nerazzurri may have to radically change their market plans – such as the proposed sales of Adriano and Alvaro Recoba.

“We haven’t decided anything yet,” noted Moratti. “But when it comes to Adriano then we have never said that we would be selling him.

“As for Recoba, his departure is mainly due to his desire to leave and our wish is to please him. Nevertheless, we are following several important players. We will see what happens.”

Oh boy, Inter are getting screwed by their fav equipment-----PHONE!!!

Expect some employees at Telefone Italia to work overnights. I can't believe how FIFA is allowing Inter to get away with this. They are commiting daylight robbery and still not getting punished!

Suazo is underrated. A fantastic player with great all round game. Given Kaka's presence at Milan, I don't think he would be as effect in Durati as he would be for that bunch of voyers. Suazo could have been the missing link.

I fail to see the fun in Inter being cunned but at the same time Milan getting stronger.
Finaly, logic :agree:

More logic.
You know how it goes "when 2 are fighting against eachother, the third one wins".
i have a feeling this fight between the Milano teams will continue on every field and at the end it will lead to one of them taking ilegal measures to outsmart the other. then the others will do the same and we were the ones who found out the hard way where such things lead to - serie b.
let them fight between eachother and take all the attention. In the meantime we can work peacefully and beat both of them on and off the field

scary transfer. with inter he probably would have been 3th choice after zlatan and crespo. But with ac milan he could be a regular in serie a, and he surely can score goals. besides he doesnt need to settle in, cause he has played in italy for a long time already.

Inter-Suazo, 'Dinho-Milan! Friday 22 June, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The David Suazo saga took another shock twist today! His contract clause releases him to Inter, so Milan pour their efforts into signing Ronaldinho.

Cagliari had agreed to sell the Honduran hitman to the Rossoneri in a £10m deal, but the player had already put pen to paper with the Nerazzurri.

Initially this was considered to be an illegal move, but after agent Giovanni Branchini met with Milan directors this afternoon, new details emerged.

It’s claimed that a clause in Suazo’s contract with Cagliari releasing him for £8m is valid for Italian sides as well as overseas.

With this in mind, the Sardinians have little choice but to hand him over to Inter for a lower price than that offered by their rivals plus half of Under-21 international Robert Acquafresca.

“From what I’ve seen recently we can say that there is a clear desire for the player to join the only club that courted him for a long time – i.e. Inter,” said President Massimo Moratti.

“We must make the most of that, besides our rapport with the others involved. We will see how it pans out.”

However, that is not the only development this evening. With Thierry Henry on the verge of completing his Barcelona transfer, this strongly suggests that the Spaniards will release either Samuel Eto’o or Ronaldinho.

Milan have publicly stated on numerous occasions that they are their primary targets and so losing Suazo will be considered more motivation to go all-out for one of the international stars.

If Lionel Messi is to be used as a supply line for Eto’o and Henry, then that means Ronaldinho is more likely to depart the Nou Camp.

The Brazilian has long had a fractious relationship with teammates, his club and Coach Frank Rijkaard, while he has regularly hinted that Milan would be a good move.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It seems that Inter is going to sign him and they will avoid any kind of punishments.
