Im Catholic but I dont agree with the Church says. Thats why I dont condemn gays/gay marriage. I think that one should be able to read/listen to what the Bible/ Jesus/God/a Priest says and reason it, so I can form my point of views on certain subjects based on my interpretation of them

Tifoso Lou. I don't handle extremely nice people very well. It's alright on a forum but if Lou and I were to be seated next to each other on a transatlantic flight; one of us would have to die :D

People I would hate to be in an elevator with.

Tifoso Lou - I can't stand Catholics, they are too right wing traditionally, and their beliefs are a joke. How can you hate gays, or the gay lifestyle?

Zlatan - I just really don't like him.

Tom - Banned Yezkimov, so he is a douche bag.
If you can back up hating gays with plausible arguments that's ok for me. If you choose to dislike those people because they can't have children in a natural way and being able to do so is vital in your perception of life, I can agree with the fact you don't like gay people.

However (and this is what Catholics have been doing wrong since they became the religion of the state in the Roman empire) you cannot force your opinions and views onto others. If you believe in God that's great, but you do not condemn other people for not believing. Ever since they became the most imortant religion they were supported by the state and thus free to "convert" people. Whoever didn't agree was simply "removed" by the state. Therefore the intolerance towards other opinions has been growing ever since 400.

and THE LIST GOES ON..........

Don't worry, that would never happen. Imagine you're standing in a building, waiting for an elevator, the doors open and you see me standing there. Would you still enter? No, you would wait for the next one and so would I :D

How about we just make a thread condemning catholics and keep the banter out of this one? Any takers on shoving the noses of specific catholic believers in the dirt?
