I know but I'd rather not have a direct replacement for Trez. If anything with our ageing Striking line. I think it would be best for us to play with only one forward. If Trez goes. You have Amauri,Del and Iaquinta that is ample. Forwards seem to cost a arm and a leg and our strength lies eleswhere.
If anything it should be a big money buy to replace Camo.

?= Could quite frankly be anybody for 25 million you have a very good chance of landing alot of attacking midfielders. I'd rather spend it there than on someone like Fabiano or Pazzini. Fabiano is fantastic but he's nearly 30.

Surely L.Fabiano is better in a lone striker position, but Suarez would provide solutions for him and others to score while Fabiano will be asking for those and complaining about the lack of them.
While you're right, Dutch league players are difficult to judge in their league but when those same players shine on the European stage that must mean that they're good enough but you can never be 100% sure, after all sometimes players transferred within the same league flop too but this is a gamble worth taking IMO.

As many mentioned it will all depend on who leaves and how are we planning to play.
If we are keeping this system and Trezi leaves then I would go for Rossi. I think considering his price and potential abilities and age then he seems more reasonable.
Dzeko & Fabiano: we shouldn't spend 40m on one player
Suarez: Didn't see much of him tbh but I was an admirer until I saw the first leg against us. He won't go for cheap, so I don't see how we could justify the money

I decided to choose Dzeko. It was a close call between him and Fabiano, but Fabiano will be 30 when the new season starts and I don't really trust 30 year old Brazilians who know that this will be their last chance for a fat contract and they won't have to prove anything.
I've seen a lot of both Dzeko and Fabiano and I don't think Fabiano is superior to Dzeko in any aspect of the game. Both are very good with the ball at their feet, both are excellent finishers, both are strong and powerful guys, both score against big teams, just that Dzeko is not even 24 and he can even improve in the future.
Dzeko will be much more expensive, but he can pay back the money in the future. Fabiano can't.

I had my suspicions over Dzeko last season, despite him being in monster form and despite being consistent throughout last season.
But i am completely convinced by him now, despite his team struggling in the Bundesliga this season, he has still managed to score 10 league goals up until now, which isn't that bad at all, as it means a goal every two games. I don't watch a lot of Bundesliga but from the little i've seen of Wolfsburg this season, Dzeko has impressed me tbh.

1st paragraph makes no sense. Fabiano plays at Sevilla and is well versed in being isolated and producing. A similar position position Juve strikers find themselves in.
Suarez plays at Ajax and his scoring is as much a part of a system that runs through him rather than his own ability. Much like Babel before him. While Suarez might be a good pick up for the future, he's certain to cost a lot (look at recent sales of Ajax strikers). He's their best attacker and I could see him going for 20+. Juve doesn't really have a midfield to support Suarez and investing massive amounts of cash in the striker position isn't going to solve anything.

Ajax are pretty much more clueless in attack than we're. They have no system for Suarez to rely on unless by that word you mean Suarez keeping hold of the ball and waiting for some players to pass them an assist or going by himself for glory.
