No, I don't think Juve's creativity issues are solved by simply adding a striker. A traquarista only works if he can get support from the rest of the team. The more important issue is the lack of support the strikers get, primarily from the wings. Whether it be the right and left defenders or adding wingers, the problem needs to be addressed. Spending 20+ on Suarez wouldn't allow Juve to address these areas.

We badly need a forward who will run the channels and in behind the defence, which will stretch defences.

At the moment none of our forwards can really do that; making the game far more congested and making it more difficult for Diego to get space.

Iaquinta is the only one who really plays in this way and we are missing that.

Well we've improved the wings supply in the last 3 games, especially from the left side but yea a lot is still to be done. But what I was saying is, Having Suarez wont help building attacks from the sides but having him will allow us to play those ground passes and some give-and-take movements. which will manage to give our strikers(probably him) some 1-on-1 chances that I actually don't recall us scoring one of those this season, except Iaquinta's goal against Bordeaux.

Depeding on what the new coach wants but i think it is safe to say that we need two new forwards. One striker like Dzeko and a support striker...a Suarez or Lavezzi.

However, if the new coach wants the one striker with diego and two others supporting him, then it is a different cattle of fish.

I voted for Suarez because i would like us to play with 3 strikers.
Suarez-Immobile;)-Del Piero.

Altough if we continue with the 2 strikers i prefer Dzeko.

But i am completely convinced by him now, despite his team struggling in the Bundesliga this season, he has still managed to score 10 league goals up until now, which isn't that bad at all
10 goals and 5 assists on 21 match isn't a particularly good record. Especially if you know that it's a high scoring league like Bundesliga and if you compare it with his last year record of 26 goals and 10 assists on 32 Bundesliga matches.

But numbers lie, especially in leagues like the Dutch one or Bundesliga, where lots of goals are being scored.

If you follow the players though, then you don't need numbers to see how good they are. Dzeko doesn't need numbers to back his quality. It is obvious from the way he plays and moves that he can make it in any team. It's a rare thing, and a very precious one, to have such a big and strong striker who's so fast at the same time, has great ball control and scores from every position.

Still, even this year Dzeko's numbers are far from bad. Maybe he's not having a great season in Bundesliga, just like his team, but in Europe he's been really good. He scored 4 goals on 5 matches in CL (2 against Manchester, 1 against CSKA, 1 against Besiktas) and 1 goal+ 1 assist against Villareal in UEFA.
Add his 2 goals and 1 assist record on 2 matches in the German cup and you get that even in a not so great season for him, he still has 17 goals and 7 assists on 30 matches. He also scored for his NT this season (I remember he did against Spain).

The boy will make it and he'll shine wherever he goes. It won't be Juve, though.

Dzeko proved me wrong (most likely). I thought he'd be one season wonder but it doesn't seem that way. Still, mentioned price of 40mln is bullshit and I'd never pay that much for him.

--

L. Fabiano is old but he'd give us what we need. Player who does everything with a critical finish. If he would play 2 seasons on his level it would be enough to repay. Still, I'd try to look for someone younger.

Italy is the only country who's top clubs use poachers and limited strikers, players who can't do shit in one-on-one and who disappear very often. So a big no goes to Pazzini, Acquafresca, Boriello and co.

What i meant to say is, his record is good for a striker playing in a struggling team.
