Arsenal was smart and decided to invest in young starlets such as Rosicky, Hleb, and van Persie. For some reason our past management did not want to take a chance on such players and we are therefore left with older players. Rosicky was the obvious player to buy considering our Pavel was here but of course nothing will ever go the ideal path.
Pavel kept insisting on getting Rosicky, but Moggi didn't really look for him. Rosicky stated several times that he'd like to play for us.

Yes, I think we even had a thread about that. Through media and press Pavel was hinting that he'd like Rosicky in Juve and even Rosicky admitted that he would very much like to play for us.
Rocisky has always convinced me since his early days at Broussia. I hope he'd have joined us especially after the World Cup, since I knew that Broussia were facing financial problems and they might accept selling him. But, Arsenal captured him before us, also our demotion had the upper hand in such a transfer.

Yes, I was about to say that aswell. I think demotion did change lot of things. Maybe he would have joined us were we in "A"...but anyway.

Gerrard would not play as well as he does with Liverpool with another club. His love and passion for Liverpool make him play the way he does.

He was about to leave them last year. Nothing is impossible, but surely he'll prefer other teams than Juve If he decided to leave.

For Gerrard that he was on verge of leaving Liverpool last year, I don't know exactly. But there is another thing here, why would Gerrard, if he considers leaving Liverpool, prefer other teams to Juve?

Indeed, he already won the Champions League with the Liverpool and all the English trophies bar the Premier League. I'm sure he won't join any English team, hence, he can either go to Italy or Spain. And to not playing in the Champions League just for one year isn't that big issue, he is still young. In my opinion, I think that considering Juve in his future plans is still an idea to be discussed.

These are the reasons IMO...

1-We can't afford to pay his wages unlike L'Pool.

2-We're still not a competitive and fully ready for next season.

3-I'm sure other teams are willing to offer him a contract worth much more than what we can.

and so on.

I agree with the last two points, but why can't we afford to pay his wages, £4M per annum are nothing in my opinion.
