I think that this transfer could happen if Gerrad is ready to leave Liverpool. Don't forget some important facts: Gerrard will never play for an other English team instead of Liverpool. Benitez loves Trez...
So 30 MIl Pound are only a Sum given from the Medias. Probably we can go for Gerrard with a Swap deal Trez + around 10 MIl Euros. Read in another Forum that we have made a deal last season with Liverpool for Gerrard for 27 Mio Euros...so it is not incredible. It would be awesome and huge and the Transfer of the Summermarket but if we will keep the Bigs then it could happen...

A dream and only a dream. We can't even give Ajax 2m € now for Grygera. What makes you thonk we can give Liverpool 45 freakin' million euros for Gerrard?

Don't believe the sh*t the media trows at your face. You'll get delusional.

Our team will be made up of free transfers and 3 good players in the 10-15m € each range.
2mil is a lot when u spend 0 to get him in 6 months.
On the contrary, 45mil might be reasonable if you consider the massive boost that Captain G can bring to the midfield. Not to mention a boost in the media limelight. Juventus will be on the headlines of every newspapper in the world with his signing and regarded again as the big boys.

Playing wise, I regard Gerrard to be the most complete midfielder around, and favor him highly. He can tackle, pass, shoot, has vision on the field and is a leader.

But like u and Coboli said, "A Dream", I would give 45mil, but not given our very tight budget. We'll need to lose Camo and Trez (atleast) if we want to pursue his signing.

Gerrard would not integrate. Like Ian Rush, not only would he be unable to understand the Italian language, he can barely speak English.

Let's forget Gerrard. Let's look seriously at Huntelaar.

With Klose, Grygera, Barzagli, Criscito and Huntelaar, or possibly Robinho we're sorted.

Re Trez and Gigi. If David does want to go we will command a very high price, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid are all admirers. Fee will be big if he wants away. As for Gigi, I'm sure will stay.

Huntelaar will most probably not join Juventus.

We won´t buy Robinho, Huntelaar and Klose, not all of them for sure.

It wont happen, but IF,and i mean a HUGEE IF,it does become possible somehow,we'd be crazy to say no to Gerrard. He can tackle,he's an unbelievable passer,he scores, and he's one heck of a leader. He'd add the much needed inspiration to our midfield and He'd be worth every cent that he costs us IMO.

People can say whatever they wants but I would like to se a Bianconero who will be unhappy with Gerrard aquistion.

Maybe it is a lot of money, but it would be great to have him :agree:

Well Gerrard would fit perfectly and he has similar style to Davids
very determined who push the whole team forward some kind of an engine
We missed that since Davids left BUT for that price I don`t believe anyone except Real Madrid or maybe Inter would be intrested
as for Juve I believe we will get Emerson back
