i am not saying gerrard is a bad player i just dont thin we have finanical resources to get him unless as some one mention earlier we found a diamond mine under delle alpi.

i honestly dont want gerrard to come if we r going to give up buffon or cammo!!

Think at the moment we would be better off spending £30m or whatever on several good players rather than one ace player.

Actually it is a news topic here as well - official sport site...

Basic Translation:
Juve reenters negotiation with Liverpool's Midfielder Steven Gerrard.
Board of directors have submitted a 30 mln. pounds offer for Gerrard.
The only question is are they gonna press for more and would Gerrard agree on Juve move.
For me VERY GOOD News.
1st Gerrard was almost signed before all this mess with Calcioppoli...
2nd Rafa Benitez has admitted lack of funds for new players. And several times *latest after Arseanal humiliation 6-2* that he needs some fresh faces to compete with the gunners' likes.

I really consider Gerrard 1 step from Delle Alpi, believe it or not.
This can only mean 1 thing - Juventus will be hammering back in Seria A next YEAR...

i hope we sign him, hes the best center midfielder in EPL.
keep hoping, more chance of saddam hussein being still alive, just because a player is the best player in his position and league doesnt necessarily make it a good thing for juve. in all honesty sum1 like gerrard is a huge risk, a risk juve cant afford to take up, so please guys lets be realists not dreamers.

we havnt submitted sh*t cuz we cant afford too, we dont have 30 mill to blow on 1 player, this deal is too risky to take upon, and besides i ahve more faith in paro, marchisio, zanetti, sali

TBH I don't see a player like Gerrard fucking up anywhere. If we were to sign him, I am sure he would be a success one way or another.

Anyway I don't see us signing him. He loves his club, the fans love him and he is considered one if not the best midfielder in the world. Even if we did, there is a lot of simuilar players like L.Gonzalez, Senna and M.Rodrigues that I would rather go for who would go for a lot less cahzhíng.

He sure would be a nice statement though.

I would take the ace, TBH. Most of our needs can be met "in house"--having Gerrard as an anchor would vastly improve the team.

I tend to doubt, as of now, that we can land him. Has not Pool been bought out by big money?
