Suck it Viola indeed, when we get conned by Chelsea or Man. City again  :andyandbarcelona:

How do you guys (who claim we made an offer) know what the offer is, let alone that we actually made one?! :shifty:

Perhaps we didn't try for him hard enough, and Marotta gave up :boh:

Or perhaps we did and Viola is just messing with us...

It's probable and plausible that he did make an offer ;) However, knowing Marotta, perhaps the offer was not enough, and nowhere near what Fiorentina expected. Hence why the 22 Million + player(s) sounds a bit off to me :klin:

The thing is I am sure we made an inquiry and I agree that it is too high but at the same time I am not convinced Marotta tried to negotiate neither is Fiorentina willing to accept offers other than their asking price. This is why I think the talks ended and the deal will never happen.

I think most of us believe it's possible to buy a Dzeko or Llorente this season and JoJo next season. While buying one of those players now (JoJo) and getting another (Dzeko) on loan with option/obligation to buy is essentially like buying one now and the other one next summer. It may not be very probable, but certainly is possible.

This.

No doubt B81 suffers from Cronios-disease. Where history is altered and reality is denied.
I didn't expect that from you man. I thought u were better than that. Low, very low :sigh:

I still love you though, you bitch :p

Possible, but highly unlikely.

Catania's Gomez close to Fiorentina.......
Montella: 'Jovetic wants Viola'

Vincenzo Montella is “certain that Stevan Jovetic strongly wants to stay” at Fiorentina ahead of tomorrow’s Coppa Italia game. “We’re giving him a team for his characteristics.”
The Viola make their official seasonal debut on Saturday evening at the Stadio Franchi against recently-relegated Novara.
The departure of many top stars has prompted long-standing reports Jovetic will push for a transfer, as Juventus and Roma are tracking the Montenegro international.
“I saw Jovetic smiling, he was even making jokes. I don’t know if that’s because at that moment he was thinking about staying or going!” jested Coach Montella in a Press conference.
“I think he’d be disappointed if he left, because we are building an important team here. We’re giving him a team for his characteristics.

“This is a side with quality and I am certain that Jovetic strongly wants to stay.”
Fiorentina have brought in the likes of Alberto Aquilani, Borja Valero, Emiliano Viviano and David Pizarro.
“This year we have recaptured the enthusiasm that had been lost, so now we have to keep it alive with training and results.
“Pizarro arrived as a leader, is very motivated and despite the fact he doesn’t talk very much, the team does rely on him already.”
