Jovetic most probably wasn't a first choice. Looks like his name popped up only after we realized that it's gonna be close to impossible to get Cavani, Higuain or Van Persie.

And I'll be glad if we decide to change the plan and go for a top quality SS like Jovetic instead of sticking to the idea to buy a CF. Better not buy a CF at all if it's not a top class one.

Both things were already discussed in this forum. If he wasn't first choice then he wasn't wanted? If Giovinco wasn't wanted why pay 11m for him, instead of getting 10? Marotta couldn't do the maths or what? Did we really not know that Viola will sell this summer... come on man!
Regarding our CF's mercato - one doesn't have anything to do with the other. Top CF, Giovinco, Vucinic AND JoJo + backups... Now this is some rotating. It might get my head spinning.

The bigger problem seems to offload all of them on time to get jovetic but before we sign Persie.... and that seems to not be happening anytime soon. And thats without even saying that we need a bomber instead of another SS

I kind of know where Conte is coming from.

We have Vucinic and Giovinco already...players that virtually play the same role as Jovetic.
