If we wanted to be easily able to afford the JoJo option (which we knew all about since the end of last season) we would have cashed on Giovinco and used those 10m to close the JoJo deal easily now.
Jovetic most probably wasn't a first choice. Looks like his name popped up only after we realized that it's gonna be close to impossible to get Cavani, Higuain or Van Persie.

And I'll be glad if we decide to change the plan and go for a top quality SS like Jovetic instead of sticking to the idea to buy a CF. Better not buy a CF at all if it's not a top class one.

Jovetić and Giovinco both had strong seasons but they still aren't looking like a clinical prima punta which we've not had since Trezeguet, so we're just going to disagree. None of our strikers can be considered very clinical on a European level, and Juventus will be found out in the Champions League if it's not addressed.

If anything, signing a player like Jovetić should be put off until next summer if needed, because of the depth we already have in Giovinco and Vučinić.

That's what I believe the team needs right now, and as a huge fan of Trezeguet I am constantly disappointed when I see the ball whipped into the penalty area or across the face of the goal and our strikers are nowhere to be seen. Or if they are around, they horribly miss the goal, which was a theme in many of the games last season.

Edit: I've been calling for Jojo for years as well, but presently Juve should be more desperate to find someone to fill Trezeguet's boots than to fill Del Piero's boots in my opinion.
