Surely there wouldn't be any teams from other leagues in for him? Doesn't seem likely. The only teams maybe I could see are L'pool and Man Utd but it seems more likely that he will stay in Italy.

The problem here is that Di Matteo, Ancelotti, Mancini and Leonardo know him. They are all obviously concentrated on some other players right now, but I'm sure he's some plan C there and he's not totally out of the picture. But yeah, serie A looks more likely for the time being.

obviously you can never be sure; however, taking into account the possibilities of that happening most of those teams have spent alot in attacking department and no matter how unlimited their oil budget is, Jovetic's still a quite considerable invesment. I also think Fiorentina would rather have the cash earlier than late in August. you just need to be a tad more patient mate.

Within reason. Jovetic is an amazing player, and 30 Million frankly isn't such a huge amount, considering what guys like Hazard and Pastore went for. I'm not saying we should kneel before them and give them 30 million while sucking their cocks, but making ridiculous offers of 13 or 15 million isn't going to get us anywhere (especially when we are offering them players they may not need/want or can't afford).

I firmly believe 23 Million + Pazienza + co-own of a youngster will close the deal. I hope this is done sooner rather than later

We can't buy Jojo and get someone else than Pazzini. It is only possible if Jojo/the top CF comes in a form of a swap + cash. Jojo would be fantastic (and the end of Giovinco 10 dream if it ever was real), but we are bleeding for a CF. We need to sell and the market atm seems dead.

Yeah that means ... nothing.
Del Piero was never 25+ goals forward and even when he was scoring like Mad we've always had a spear to push the defenders around. Or FOX-in-BOX type of CF. We have neither now and we have lots and lots of creative forwards. Its great that everyone passes and moves around, but someone has to push the defenders and make those runs anyway.
