Look we would need to keep Matri if we get Jo. The problem is that if we get Jovetic we can't realistically get Destro unless we loan him. If we managed to get Destro and Dzeko it would work in theory because we can get rid of Matri and all three of Destro, Dzeko and Quags would get playing time. We couldn't however get Jo and Destro because someone of Destro,Jovetic,Gio or Vucinic would miss out.

Easy answer to that, Fiorentina wanted Quag in the deal, and we can sell Gio and fund for Dzeko+Destro to arrive after we acquire Jovetic

Buying Dzeko on top of Destro and Jovetic is asking for a bit too much..
