Well I hope he is not gonna play more than 10-15. More wouldn't make sense because we got Morata, Dybala, Mandzukic in front of him and Jovetic playing 20-25 means that one of those is injured. Why would we want that
Or it could just mean heavy rotation as well.

Tactical choices that would allow a combination of three of the aforementioned strikers. And hey, if for some reason there is an injury, this squad would be much better covered in the attack than they were last year.

What a world we live in, when people are actually upset that we might be signing Jovetic.

Hate to sound like Conte, but a few years ago we were relying on the likes of Amauri and Iaquinta.

So yeah, I'm with Serge on this. First world problems.

It depends on our Oscar pursuits. Chelsea want €35m for Oscar while we can get Jovetic for just under €20m. If Chelsea could lower their asking price, Oscar is the preferred choice, but if not, we're getting Jojo.

JoJo at AM will be great. Such great passing and vision! Damn, it's like we're replacing Tevez with both Jovetic and Dybala :p
Our attack will have so much more flair and fancy as opposed to last year!!

Ok. So, last night was my "first" rough night with the baby. Finally fell asleep at 7:30am and up by 9am so forgive me if I'm more daffy than usual.

I read we want both Jojo and Oscar or one or the other? And he would get the #10? Sweet jesus am I delirious?

You like French Hip Hop, but you don't see anyone holding that against you.

Except for me, of course. But that is allowed, because I am the funkiest white man you will ever know.

Can't see any other reason. They could have Berardi for 15 million or pay upwards of 20 for Jovetic, who is 4 years older, has had injury issues in the past, and has not been a protagonist on a club for 2 plus years now.

If you are talking from strictly an economic and to a lesser degree, a player evaluation perspective, there is no reason why Jovetic should be picked ahead of Berardi.
Only reason I can think of leaving Berardi there another year is that if he continues his current trajectory of consistently improving he will probably be a direct starter NEXT year versus coming to rotate with the attack now. I hate loans, you know that, but playing every single game at Sass is probably better than playing half here? IMO he is ready for Juve but perhaps another season with these impressive stats is more likely to see him rip into the NT and really open up Europes eyes to his talents, not just ours.

And the Jojo signature is tricky. Do we sign him for a year loan with an option to take it up next season with little cost? Straight transfer? Only loan? Let's say hypothetically Jojo doesn't get injured and shreds defenses for a season like we know he can, then next summer is going to be interesting.

I don't think it will be a straight transfer, unless Juve and their staff are convinced that he can get through these injury issues that he has had. Again, I absolutely love him, but with that comes an inherited risk that he could get hurt again.

But, the more that I think of it, the more I realize that unlike a few years ago, he won't be brought here to lead the line. Get him in 25-30 matches via a combination of starting and substiutions, and if he can stay healthy, that is a hell of a backup SS/AM to have on this club.

I still think in my heart that he is a bridge to Berardi for 2016, and I'm fine with that.
