Is it just me who is feeling underwhelmed about potentially signing this guy? Some of you talk of Jovetic as if he was someone like Isco. Back 4-5 years ago this would have been a shot in the arm for the club when we were in those dark mid table days. I was highly impressed by him against bayern in the '10 CL, but he hasn't developed in the trajectory that was expected by pundits then. I dont think he's enjoyed an injury free season since 2010-2011 and looks like he could tear his quad attempting to get up from the john after his morning bowel motion.

Does he bring pace? No. Workrate? No. Goalscoring? No. I suppose he'd do well playing in the hole, and afford us creativity in the trequartista role that Allegri has been looking for. But at the price quoted of ~€25 million euros, id be very tentative to drop that ammount on the back of his work the past 2-3 seasons.

If we didn't only have one reliable striker I wouldn't be fussed, but i'd just like to see us actually fucking get a good player for a proper price to prove that we actually can, so yeah let's bring him

Would be like an upgraded Vucinic, linking MF and attack very well.

I read Jovetic rumors are for July, not now.
would make more sense for two reasons:

-CL status, he can't play for us til next season
-will be the mercato when Giovinco leaves and we probably sell Zaza opening up a slot and giving us additional funds

Sorry folks, it won't happen... even if we were the only top club after him.

Remember, Marotta only can buy players nobody else wants. Surely Jovetic is wanted.
