20m for Jovetic? Yeah, right.. how will Viola accept that?

Also, is nobody actually taking his history with injuries into account? Everyone seems to be so worried about the money yet nobody seems to have a problem with investing 22m + Marrone(who's worth what, 7m atleast?) on a player with a major injury problems?

And, how bad was his injury the last game for Montenegro?
Van Persie was injury prone. Look at the season he had for Manchester United. Money well spent.

I had to go check if the Higuain thread was locked :( Stupid people, believing everything in the papers and giving me a tough time :p
It's not 100% but its seems increasingly likely.

We've lost out on him.

Jovetic is not injury prone.
Yes he is, he gets injured more than the average player. Missed a whole season at 21. Like it or not but that raises some red flags.

I just don't get the whole thing, I'm hardly the only Juve fan who isn't exactly drinking the Jovetic kool aid. Twitter is blowing up with Juve fans who'd rather see someone else instead of Jovetic here.

Do you think that Del Piero was injury prone? Especially in his youth days he was almost every year couple of months on the sidelines but it didn't diminish his overall impact.
And most of those on twitter comments are reactions to Della Vale's previous ones.

I never said you're the only fan.

I'm just saying this:

- He's not really injury prone, he played many matches
- He doesn't score many goals, but offers a lot more, just like Del Piero did, you can't see it on sites and statistics
- You never watched Fiorentina play bar those matches against Juve

Please stop comparing to Del Piero. Del Piero didn't cost us 30m to get here. Just right there the comparisons go out the window.

And you should stop with blind hatred toward a player of whom you clearly have a limited knowledge of.

I think he's a good player, but nothing special, or at least nothing in the category of Higuain, Tevez and the rest of those guys we've been linked to and who I expect to put our mediocre offense on his back.

I don't hate him, I prefer something else.

tevez also earns 10m a year. that's 20m in taxes. across 3 years that's 60m

but hurrr durrr random rumor on internet said he will cut his salary. yeah except there is no reason for him to do that.

2.5M or 30M, Del Piero is priceless.

If Jovetic seems to be following the same path, can you put a price on that?

If it's rumor than it must be true. Tevez always seemed like loyal and modest player.

But he's not! When did we go from potentially signing him to him turning out to have a path of Del Piero? That's like saying Sanchez, Giovinco, Muriel and a bunch of those other Serie A SS's are following Del Piero's path. They are not.

Not one of Sanchez, Giovinco or Muriel has put the same numbers as Jovetic.

The one that comes closest is Muriel. And Muriel is valued at ~15M-20M already.

20M + Marrone for Jovetic doesn't sound far from reasonable.
