City are the oil club who i despise the most.
They have bought many players for the sake of it.They clearly dont know how a football club shud be run.
Ofcourse you wud get that odd success if u pour so much money into the club.
And it makes sense. Those two would be a big upgrade over what we had this season. Even if Conte decided to use 4-3-3 he'd play them both along with Pepe I guess.
20m for Jovetic? Yeah, right.. how will Viola accept that?
Also, is nobody actually taking his history with injuries into account? Everyone seems to be so worried about the money yet nobody seems to have a problem with investing 22m + Marrone(who's worth what, 7m atleast?) on a player with a major injury problems?
And, how bad was his injury the last game for Montenegro?

Its highly unlikely that we can muster that ammount after the acquisition of the prolific finisher.
So Jovetic for that sum would either come at the expense of the prolific finisher, which would render this transfer an incredibly huge strategical mistake.
Or it could be funded by the sale of one of our current starter SSs, (Vucinic, Giovinco) if this happens, then of course Jovetic would be the starter who replaces them.

Vucinic as well earns enough and Giovinco was promised not to be pushed aside either. Neither of them will accept any easier to be someone else's sub.
Llorente is a free token, he cannot make such demands and he is not prolific enough to warrant a starter place without any kind of competition or back up at least.
Whilst on the supporting role, we have plenty of options, what we need the most is a prolific finisher, we have plenty of SS and already proven, to make space from someone as good as Jovetic, one must leave first!
