Under 20m? In what world? First of all Viola have publicly said that they won't go 1 euro under 30m. Also, the deals that are talked about are 20m + Marrone or Gabbiadini. Now I don't know about you but those guys are not worth 0. They are worth something and are assets to Juventus that adds value to the deal. Both of those guys are worth about 7m each which would mean that this deal is closer to 30m.

Please stop comparing Higuain to Jovetic. Higuain has scored over 130 goals in the last 5 years and is only behind Ronaldo and Messi in terms of goals scored. He's one of the most natural born finishers in the world.

And whether you like it or not, Quag, Gio Vucinic and Matri have all had season as productive as Jovetic. For all of the overrating Jovetic gets, you'd think he should have taken his game to the next level by now. He's very inconsistent and for example only scored 4 goals after the new year.

We're looking for a top player and if we have guys like Higuain and Tevez available to us, we should go after them. I don't know if Jovetic could take his game to the world class level or not, but I'm sure Higuain and Tevez would bring an already established world class game. Especially if they get to be the center of attention in our attack.
Jovetic was injured after January and still managed to score 13 goals. Higuain had di maria, ozil and ronaldo to supply golden balls to him, he rarely made chances all by himself. Jovetic also can be a long term investment whereas Higuain is going to get bored and move away after a few years (just like he is doing now with ream madrid). jovetic, for me, can be the next number 10/.

And he's one of the biggest chokers. With the amount of chances RM create Matri and Quag could easily score 20+ per season. My comparison concerned CL. We can win Serie A again with Gio, Quag or Matri as starters but we need player who'll take us on another level in CL. Higuain is not the one. Bayern, Dortmund, Barcelona, Lyon I watched him in every single one of these big CL games to form this opinion. Only 8 goals in about 50 apps is more than a valid argument of his ineffectiveness.

This is just not worth bothering if you can't see a difference between mentioned players and Jovetic.
When I evaluate certain player I don't look at the last couple of months. You can probably find players who scored plenty of goals in that period but what does it prove?

And would Higuain be compatibile with Llorente? I doubt 4.5M player would be relishing the prospect of warming up the benched.

this stand as a very solid argument to why we shouldnt cry over higuain if he joins arsenal.

and add to that, that we've signed llorente.

higuain is not what we need. a creative ss with an acceptable amount of consistency is what we shud be looking at. not miss chokes on dicks

Personality, history, nostalgia, and legend status put aside - Del Piero and Jovetic are almost the exact same type of players. Why don't we compare their goals/assists.

Del Piero (20yrs old) - 14 matches, 5 goals, 0 assists
Jovetic (20yrs old) - 29 matches, 6 goals, 10 assists

Del Piero (21yrs old) - 29 matches, 6 goals, 0 assist
Jovetic (21 years old) - 0 matches, 0 goals, 0 assists

Del Piero (22yrs old) - 13 matches 4 goals, 0 assist
Jovetic (22yrs old) - 27 matches, 14 goals, 4 assists

Del Piero (23yrs old) - 22 matches, 17 goals, 0 assist
Jovetic (23yrs old) - 31 matches, 13 goals, 5 assists

Total Del Piero: 78 matches, 32 goals, 0 assists
Total Jovetic: 87 matches, 33 goals, 19 assists

Numbers may not be exact, and DP's assist history doesn't seem accurate to me so if anyone knows more accurate numbers feel free to share. But I'm sure you get the point.

Why is Jovetic getting shitted on now while last summer he'd be our saving grace?

Because he never scored more than 15 leagues goals/season in his carrier, so he is not a finisher in my books.
You must be a fraud. There's no way a doctor can be as dumb and ignorant as you are.

If we want to look at goals then obviously Higuain is better than Jovetic. Overall i say Higuain is still better but you cant compare players in different positions. Also I cant believe people being so picky when it comes to our transfers. We are linked with Higuain, Jovetic, and Tevez and at this point I would welcome anyone. Jovetic would indeed help us, we need a goalscorer which we got and we need an improvement in the ss department, I thought that was pretty obvious

Del Piero was bossing internationally. Until he was 27, only one time in his career Del Piero scored more than 9 goals in 1 serie A season. But in Europe and for Italy he was a goalscoring machine.

Yeah that's right. Later he became more prolific.
And in his early days he was playing deeper.
