It's not that players avoid Seria A it's their agents. Players want trophys and of course money but agents priority is money so they push their players into leagues that have oil money (epl, russian, ligue 1) because they benefit from it and when player isn't happy let's say in russian league they arange another sale and get another huge amount from it . Seria A is competitive in terms of quality but not in terms of wages and big amounts payed for agents. Those greedy bastards..
