I still remember when he went beast mode in the CL for Fiorentina, especially against Liverpool.

Twenty-three years old, very skillful, and potential world beater. His injuries are a concern but he's a gamble worth taking.

Quag + 25M for Jovetic.

4.5M wages for 5 years.

Would you guys do it?
No. He's not worth that kind of money, let alone including Quag or anyone else. The only way I'd do this deal is, if he was a straight swap for Gio. Jojo is not going to take us to the next level. That's what this season is about. Anything else is going to keep us where we are, if not allow us to slip in lieu of Napoli or Meelan strengthening intelligently.

You must be joking, neither of those three is worth more than 6mln euros.

If you think Jovetic's price should be lower than Matri's then something is really wrong with you.
:agree:

The thing is we do have a missing link upfront and there are multiple ways in which we can plug it. Though who it is will probably define how our team plays, Jojo's worth the punt IMO, we'd be so much more fluid and he's still lethal; almost a goal every 2 games this season. If it means giving up Giovinco then so be it, he's not going to fill the gap.

That's like saying "if you think Jojo's price should be higher than Vidal's then it's something wrong with you" :D

I'd easily give up on Giovinco to get Jovetic here. His statistics are decent even if he's playing there. IMO he'd jump on a higher level if he comes here. The way he links up play is great. Seeing Jovetic - Llorente upfront would be orgasmic.

His contract was expiring, hence the low price. IMO Vidal's price is over 30mln at this point. So... no! :D

I was just joking with De Ceglie and co, but I don't think we should pay over €20 mill for Jojo.
Hell, Lamela who was a kid was bought for 17mln. I think paying 25-30mln for Jovetic is quite normal. Italian football suits him well while he also did well in Europe.

He's just the way to go  People talk about Suarez but he's the most unrealistic transfer (plus he's an idiot). Jovetic is on a high level and way more possible.
