So, basically, it is not an issue of who is the better player, but who is more readily available.

What makes anyone so sure that Barcelona would want to offload Sanchez in the first place? They made an expensive investment in him.
Barca will listen to a reasonable offer. We go big and offer 25m €. Boom opening day summer mercato Juve launching big offer for a world class talent with a little wrong environments. We play him as second striker and let him do his magic instead of wasting him out wide.
They paid an overprice of 26m € for him. Getting 25-27m € from Juve could be a done deal. We offered an offer on table and Barca could spend the window looking for a replacement. They'd get time and none in Spain would talk a bad deal of it anymore. :donedeal:

Making space for Neymar perhaps

Although I like your way of thinking, for me, it's always been about JoJo

I feel his style would suit us better. He's not a great goal scorer, and neither is Jovetic for that matter, but he's much faster and I prefer his link up play. He would suit Conte's tactics better, especially with Pirlo.

His injuries would be a big concern, for any team who would want to buy him, yeah.

Sanchez, Lavezzi, Suarez...

I hope Conte wouldn't want to sign Jovetic for his goal scoring record.
Because after all, his goal scoring record in his past 50 matches has been abysmal.

26 million initially with bonus clauses pushing it to almost 40 million, I believe.

I have no idea what the stipulations of the bonuses happen to be.
I'd hazard a guess at winning the league, cup and champions league would fall into the bonuses.

30 million is what Fiorentina want and if City are sniffing they can get it easily. Problem is if we want to improve our attack the only players who are capable will cost 30+ million plus silly wages. Jovetic falls within our wage band of 3.5 million.

Unless we take the risk on Muriel. I assume he'd cost between 18-20 million.

@Klin,

Quaqs value is about 5 million. People seem to overestimate his value.
That is because he is a Juve player and all you know and when we are on the selling end of things ,they'd want the biggest price possible but when we're on the buying end of things these people seem to get their 'inner marotta' out when it comes to player prices.Bunch of hypocrites these people are.Its not worth wasting your time on them.
