Matri disappeared since last year...came back for 2 weeks and is gone again...still fapped over.

What is the point?
The point is that Matri is not rated as the heir to Del Piero while he accomplished nothing in his carrier.

I hope we sign Sanchez over this guy.
What happened to us? We used to disagree on everything in the past. :D

Some players can't accomplish anything in their career until they move to a bigger club. It shouldn't be that hard to understand that Jovetic won't win anything at Fiorentina and to hold that over his head is just stupid.

Jovetic, currently of all the players we could probably get, is the closest thing to DP we will get for a long time. No one thinks he will be better than DP and that is even more stupid than accusing Jovetic for not having won anything in his career yet.

Jovetic would fit into this team absolutely perfectly. But then you have the Cronios-ites of the forum telling people that he will always be injured. Then you have the napoleonic-ites of the forum saying he has done nothing this year to deserve a Juve jersey...then you have the peeps right above this saying he has disappeared for 3 months when we have had players do much worse for much longer and still get support.

People here need to pick a side of the fence and stay on it. Can't be on both sides simultaneously without looking ridiculous.

May I ask why? Has he proven more than Jovetic at these stages of their careers, given that Sanchez is a year older?

Accomplished more than Sanchez has, and is a year younger

I'm not trying to knock Sanchez, I do like him a lot. But some of the reasons that people prefer him to Jovetic, especially the "Jovetic has done nothing so far in his career".

Well, what exactly has Sanchez done? Score 15 goals last year in all competitions in 40+ games? Playing for Barcelona? Hell, park my 43 year old ass in the box for 41 games and I could probably score at least 5 goals by accident playing with the likes of Messi, Iniesta, et al

He doesn't need to win anything with Fiorentina to prove he's an excellent player. Hell, he isn't even Fiorentina's best player.

No one is saying he's a bad player, it's just you who want to understand so. For what he'll cost, we could get better. Much better.

I refuse to answer the other parts of your post.

Sanchez? Its what he stands for not his current form. Most here remember his time with Udinese as well..? It feels like he can add more then Jovetic.
And Jovetic stands for, what, exactly, according to you?

By being sidelined more than actually playing football?
Yet his goal scoring tallies/ratio are more impressive than Sanchez the past couple of seasons, despite being injured, and being in a far less talented team than barcelona.

Go figure.

I feel his style would suit us better. He's not a great goal scorer, and neither is Jovetic for that matter, but he's much faster and I prefer his link up play. He would suit Conte's tactics better, especially with Pirlo.

His injuries would be a big concern, for any team who would want to buy him, yeah.

Sanchez, Lavezzi, Suarez...

I hope Conte wouldn't want to sign Jovetic for his goal scoring record.
