cmon guys, seriously

Higuain, AND jovetic, oh and a starter lwb

Why not an entire new team ?
Could you please stop doing this? It's fucking annoying. Do you need to keep reminding people all the time? This sense of entitlement you have is so irritating.

Higuain for 25 million, and Jovetic for 15 Million + a couple of players is not beyond the realm of possibility. It's very difficult, but not impossible.

Ibra >>> Jovetic.

The difference in transfer fee would probably make up the difference in wages.

Ibra ~15m & ~7m/8myr
Jovetic ~25m & ~4m/yr

No it wouldn't... 4 mil net = 8 mil... while 8 mil net = 16 mil for the club to cough up.

A difference of 8 mil per year and tht's not even thinking about any other players demanding a raise after seeing Ibra earns double what they have...

assuming we sign Ibra for 3 years(what I keep reading anyways), he would cost us 36 million total(not including taxes). Jovetic in the same amount of time would cost us 37 million. But Jojo is younger and would probably sign for a longer time period than it is reported that Ibra would sign for. Also, his value would most likely increase in that time period if all goes as planned. :agree: but idk if we can get Jojo.

Why would PSG sell Ibra? Especially for 15M? He has to force his way out.

Would he accept a big pay cut (probably more than 1/3 his current salary)? I'll believe it when I see it.

Also, once you start incorporating taxes, that difference increases. Zlatan is turning 32 in October, he would have no resale value, where as Jojo is 23, and well respected on the continent. It's a much more sustainable purchase; if things didn't work out, there would still be clubs interested in him.

But Ibra could actually push us towards CL, where as Jovetic couldn't do that.
Jovetic lit up CL last time he played in that competition... 5 goals in 6 games :)

And if you buy Ibra you cant sell him for any price in the future, he would be too old. If Jovetic plays good and even gets better, we could sell him more expensive in the future and earn some additional money from his sale. (theoretically)

Maybe they might get a new coach and he doesn't fit tactics or doesn't get along with coach etc..

We may get a trophy in return with Ibra, whereas Jovetic might not...

Can he carry a team though? Doubt it...
