I don't know, to tell you the truth. I think a lot of the discussions that we have had since the 4-3-1-2 became the formation of choice is the apparent need for a more offensively minded AM.


What if they feel that he can step into that role? I really don't know if he can. When he was at his physical peak, he always seemed to be more shifty than quick, so I really have no idea as to how that would play out for Allegri.

I guess at this point they would be looking for a low risk, high reward type of player?

And if that is where they are going to look, I really don't know where else they can go.

I had said it in another thread that I really think that Diego, despite playing in Turkey, would do really well with the allotment of forwards in front of him, and Vidal, pogba, Marchisio behind him.

@King of Kings - I think we are looking at Jovetic for the 433 because we can't find an AM that would impact us positively and be afforable at the same time considering we have spent so much now. So, Jovetic/Berardi gives us the option for the 433 and Pereyra/Vidal (teeth grinding) give us an option for a 4312...not to mention, a 4321 is also feasible because we have such a great target man in Mandzukic.

I don't ever remember Jovetic playing on either side of a 4-3-3.
