Because Gomez doesn't fit the parameters required at all. Villa, well, there are injuries, age and form factors against him.

That being said, I still wouldn't pay more than €20-22M total value for Jovetic.

Cuz Villa might offer us 2 seasons and then he is toast, and Gomez is so over-rated by many on here. He is a poacher, and practically useless outside the box. He isn't compatible with Llorente, won't bring others into play, doesn't create, and unless we have awesome wingers, he is pretty much a needless purchase.

But maybe Jovetic just isn't the exceptional talent that he was at 18/19? He wasn't even Fiorentina's 'top player' over the season, frankly I think Cuadrado and Ljajic had on par or maybe even a better season.
