I think that any of us would prefer Jovetic to Vucinic, but unfortunately the choice is already made...
Now we will push for a finisher (and maybe get back Giovinco if we can spare some cash) but going beyond 15mil for yet another SS is unrealistic atm...
15mil+players worthy of 5-10 would do the trick, but unfortunately its Fiorentina we are dealing with, this is their prized star and they know it, they know how to take advantage of it and makes as pay the full premium price.

This was my point in many of our inbetween acquisition, with Melo being our latest example, good player, but they made us overpay, we bought him when his hyped was maximised and they accepted no half offers, only cash, we are still paying for him and can barely hope that we only lose what we have lost so far and only recover what we must pay in the future.
Players they took from us with peanuts, like Mutu, Balza and Zanetti were their best players for many years to come. They knew they had some value and they were stealing them from us on a cheap. They can surely know how to do business with us. Its really dangerous to further try that, knowing how easily it is for them to fool us.

For these reasons, JoJo for this summer is out of the question (unless we sell Vucinic for a price close to his inflated price tag)

Changed your av

Even I believe we'll spend more than €15m on a CF this time. It's not like we have gaping holes in the team to spend €80m on like 10 players again. We probably have the same amount or a little less for probably 3-5 players. I just hope we get someone that is a true finisher like Cavani for CF and not someone like Suarez that is pretty good but isn't an amazing finisher.

“Juventus have to get over it. Stevan Jovetic is staying next season even with Giuseppe Rossi,” warned Fiorentina.
The surprise signing of Rossi from Villarreal for a reported €9m plus performance-related bonuses sparked speculation that he was a replacement for Jovetic.
“Juventus have to get over it,” smiled general manager Sandro Mencucci on Sky Sport Italia.
“Jovetic is staying next season even if Giuseppe Rossi has arrived.”

We need a player that can make "that difference" too many "decent" players out there today but were done with decent and from time to time have to stick out neck out and do what it takes to take that risk and buy that "difference" Jovetic is quality and I have no doubts in paying €30 or what ever it is he's valued. Every club makes risks on their forward. But there's no risk with Jovetic.

Of course they'd sell him to us, they are just a small club. And we didn't offer anything close to 30mln, more like 10mln + Matri.

For 30mln not only they'd sell Jovetic to us but they'd bend over.

Jovetic doesn't have a release clause? It just doesn't seem apparent that they would sell him to us, every comment they've made on the issue is about him not going to Juve. It makes me think we'd have to throw more than €30m at it.

i don't even think offering 40+ mill would persuade them to part, there are too many complicated external factors involved, and it is not like Juve would offer that kind of amount anyways

If his contract has a release clause in it, are they not legally forced to sell him to whatever club offers that amount?
