It's like that big injury Del Piero got in the late 90s. It was pretty bad. But you still wouldn't call him injury prone, would you?

Injuries can happen to any player. Jovetic is not injury prone. He'd be one of the best signings we could ever make, imo.

The whole injury prone debate.

Geez. :sergio:

Our entire team was injury prone for the last 2 years, has everyone forgotten? It isn't always down to the player.

Jovetic is #1 on my wishlist. Forget Cavani, Suarez, RVP.

Our priority is a finisher, our main problem is goal scoring. Since we dont have a problem to create chances, but to finish them.
So if we spend about 30-40mil on a Cavani, i highly doubt that we can afford further 30m on Jovetic, hence the reason he hasnt been mentioned in the past months... Just forget him and let him go...

When we chose Vucinic, our fate was sealed, he was brought to be a starter, despite having a load of SSs, including Quaq.
Now its time so spend everything we got on a prolific finisher.
I m glad we wont trade with Fiorentina, everything we buy lately turns into shit and we lose huge piles of cash in our trades with them.
Despite their pitiful season, if they could milk one club, that would be us, their usual transfer market victims...

Though i admire Jovetic i must say you have a point. We don't have much of a choice, because we already made it when we bought Vucinic. Building a team is a process that lasts for seasons and certain choices define other as part of a plan, so it would be unwise to destroy what we already have. We ain't City or Psg to build from a scratch in a transfer window. Prolific striker(i prefer with a sheer physical presence) Cavani/Falcao type would take us a whole new level. I really want to think that you are wrong about the bold part
