It's true. It's better to have Giacch than to not have him. Had we not had him last year, would we have gotten those crucial goals against Genoa or Catania for instance? You're seriously underrating him, and what he did for us. Sure, he's no Messi, but damn what a heart and what effort. And the odd crucial goal.

Its hard to measure exactly what defined a season but i feel fairly confident that we would have managed without his minimal contributions throughout the last two seasons. Terrible, terrible footballer.

he's still great defensively, though, in the 3-5-2. We concede fewer goals because of the work he puts in, even in that formation.

yes because of that i say he is put under heavy stress. He tend to work like a madman and thats very demanding
